"Stopped in today as they have French onion soup. Took a while to be seated (place was practically empty). The smell of what I can only describe as a rotting drain was so bad we moved seat twice. Waitress could have cared less. Brought two bowl of soup and was disgusting and cold I ate none. My other half managed to eat some. Waitress walked by and brought check and didn’t even ask about the soup. Stopped by again and she said nothing. Will never return, disgraceful place, awful service and the place should be shut down. It’s a huge place and no more than 6 people dining."

"I had a wonderful breakfast experience at Mimi's Cafe in Colorado Springs yesterday. Since it is only 10 minutes away from USAFA, my husband and I took our daughter, who attends the Academy, for a brunch. The food was not only delicious but also felt like it was made with a lot of love and care. The server, and likely the manager, was incredibly polite and attentive. The cozy atmosphere and spotless cleanliness of the place were much appreciated. We'll definitely be returning. Thank you, Mimi's!"

"Food was delicious! Came for breakfast and the variety they offered was just what we wanted. Service was fast and friendly. The restaurant was clean and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Will be back!"

"The service and atmosphere really bring this review up. The food, however (specifically brunch), needs a lot of improvement. Pros: they take reservations for big groups, even on holidays. Mario has been our parties waiter the last 2 times, and he is a great waiter. Cons: we waited an hour and a half to get our food. I ordered eggs Benedict, and my eggs were hard boiled... and my food was cold! I know we are a big party, but hot food should always be brought out as soon as it's done. Ours was brought out at the same time, which is why I'm assuming some of our plates were cold, some warm, and some nice and hot."

"Solid Two Stars, every time I come. Food: Okay, depending. 2.5 stars. The breakfast food is pretty good, and drinks are okay, too. Last time I went I asked for a BLT with extra bacon. What I received from the kitchen was a pathetic two pieces of bread, two tiny slices of tomato, a piece of lettuce, and two flimsy pieces of bacon. When I asked for more bacon (again) I got a small plate with two more small slices. Not impressed. Even when I’ve stayed on menu, there tends to be something wrong. Service: okay. 2 stars. The workers are friendly enough. But the service wasn’t great. Waitress didn’t bring us plates for the bread we had at first and failed to check in on our group in the back room adequately. This seems to be pretty normal here. After the waitress failed to come through on my BLT, she did nothing to make it right. Also, waitress seemed to be unhappy in her position and seemed displeased with a lot of the food on the menu. Hard to trust a place that the workers don’t. Atmosphere: cozy. 4.5 stars. Fireplaces are nice. I like the layout inside and the table style. Booths are comfortable and so are the normal chairs. Restaurant IS Handicap accessible. Price: too high for the quality of food and service."
