Caribou Coffee

"This was a dreadful experience overall. I thought I would order two scones and a coffee before I had to hop on my flight. If I could go back in time to rescue my $15, I would call Marty McFly in a jiffy. Blueberry scone was dry and I could hardly taste blueberry. Boring overall. The apricot scone looked nice but gave me PTSD flashbacks when I tasted it, to when I was sick as a little kid and my mum would give me the apricot medicine to drink. The coffee - oh my days. Wayyyy too hot and was burned harder than Clarence when Eminem roasted him in 8 Mile. The servers were nice and friendly so I’ll give them that, but the quality of the products are so sub-par, even for airport food. If you’ve got $15 you just want to get rid of for some reason, this is a great place I guess."

"Stopped here last week on Thanksgiving morning and couldn't have been more impressed with the good energy and level of service from the baristas. The person working at the register was so pleasant and the rest of the team turning out drinks so fast. I was a hot mess express trying to manage my luggage and my hangover, and when I got my drink I immediately dropped it and it spilled all over the floor. They said not to worry and made me another one for free. The kindness was so appreciated and the coffee was the thread that held the day together. Thank you Caribou Coffee!"

"Terrible customer service. Poor barista training. I have spent over a hundred dollars at this location. I'm an employee in the airport so I visit Caribou frequently, but I will NEVER go back. Last week I ordered coffee and after the woman put it on the counter she never called out which coffee it was so other customers and I were just standing there waiting. If the employee would've said which coffee it was I could've grabbed my coffee and left instead of standing there waiting. A few days after I ordered a pumpkin white mocha blended. When I got the drink there were visible coffee grounds. I took a sip and the coffee grounds were in fact in the drink. I took it back she asked for another drink to be made. Not once did the employees apologize. I understand that sometimes a few grounds will get in the coffee but this was a lot. A simple apology with my remade drink would've been nice. I went again this morning and ordered a hot pumpkin white mocha latte. Again I take a sip and feel grainy coffee grounds. This time I went back and requested a refund. I told the manager that this was the second time I bought coffee that had coffee grounds and she preceded to question if I was sure that the drink had coffee grounds in it. My Co worker looked inside the coffee when I took the lid off and saw the coffee grounds too. I just wanted an apology. It was very unprofessional of the manager to not offer a complimentary drink but let alone not apologize whatsoever. I have worked in hospitality before and if a customer complained for any reason I would offer an apology and fix what was wrong. Caribou will not be receiving my business again. I'll just start bringing my Starbucks in a glass."
