"Dropped by for a celebratory lunch with my wife, based on the recommendations of others in a local Facebook group. We arrived shortly after opening and it was just us the entire time until we left. The space is cozy and clean and there was one bartender/server. Service was very prompt and we didn't wait terribly long for our food, maybe 5-10 minutes at most. I got the pork belly sandwich and fries (with extra BBQ on the side) and my wife got the buffalo chicken sandwich and a side salad. The pork belly was phenomenal - I counted 6 big pieces that were crispy and tender on the inside. The slaw was fresh and complemented the sandwich. I'm glad I got some sauce on the side - the blueberry BBQ has the slightest heat/bite that you can really appreciate with the fries, which were crispy and seasoned well. My wife enjoyed the buffalo chicken sandwich and it wasn't too spicy at all. The side salad was an ordinary side salad, but all the ingredients were fresh (a big plus). For both the sandwiches, they were a just little messy but very tasty - would definitely recommend them. Overall, no complaints at all and we would be back again. I'm curious if a neon/light-up sign in the window saying "open" would help draw attention to the place. It certainly has a good location but blends into the space between two other business locations. We thought, at first, they weren't open until we tried the door. Hopefully they continue to fill the space with hungry customers and word-of-mouth leads to more success for the location. The food certainly is worth it for a visit (or several)."
"Great local neighborhood diner that evolved from one of colorado springs best food trucks. I fell in love with their carne asada fries while friends race about the pork belly version. Also a big fan of their fried green tomatoes, grilled cheese and burgers. Bar, 4 top and 2 top table seating along with attentive, friendly service complete the appealing casual diner vibe."
"Hubs and I checked out Heirloom Bar & Grill last night! A hidden gem in plain sight! We got the spiced blackberry bramble and cranberry margarita, both delicious. We got the fried green tomatoes, amazing! And then for entrees, I got the jalapeño cheddar burger but also wanted the Buffalo mac, minus the chicken. They made me a side dish of it, and it was amazing! I hope they add it as an official premium side. Hubs got the pork belly sandwich and green chili fries! Literally everything was delicious! 10/10"
"Great food! Everything is definitely handmade/homemade and not from a box. Seasoning is just right, not bland and not salty. Service was on point, there was only one server because it’s a small space but he was really attentive. The chicken Alfredo was my favorite dish. The salad was well balanced and a good portion. I added the pork belly which was fire. The salmon and chicken tenders alerte also great dinner options. Wish we made room for dessert."
"Everything here was delish! We started w the fried zucchini with homemade ranch, which was 1/2 off for happy hour, (Tue-Fri 3-6) can’t beat that! Although we don’t drink the cocktails that came out looked amazing. For dinner I had the fish and chips which was such a large serving and the best in town if you ask me. My husband had the ribeye with fries and rainbow carrots, the steak came out perfectly cooked and of course you cannot forget to add a side of o-rings! We ate half of them before I remembered to take a picture, also best in town. Aaron and Anna, the staff were on top of it! Everything was amazing!"
