"The reviews appropriately reflect the food and the dude running this place. I’m currently on a BBQ tour of Colorado, specifically seeking out the best ribs in the state. I drove by and saw his truck on the side of Manitou Ave today after the incline and figured I’d stop. I’ve been to 10 BBQ specific establishments throughout the state so far and Otis’s was hands down, by far the best. The pork ribs were fall off the bone. The flavor was excellent, super juicy, BBQ sauce came on the side and was phenomenal, the best sauce I’ve had so far. Price was appropriate, 17$ 1/2 rack. Fast service as well. You gotta go. Best Pork ribs in Colorado. (Ate in a brewery, beer not included. Lol)"

"I pulled up and asked the gent who’s there today, to please pick something he would highly recommend, I got this Twinkie he called it. Omgggghhg It was a stuffed jalapeño, cream cheese/brisket unwrapped with bacon…. Out of this world amazing. The smoky flavors are bursting on the pallet still as I write this… amazing flavors. Thank you I’ll be back soon. Supporting local is important to keep our small business thriving."

"Talk about finding a hidden gem! Hands down the best BBQ in Colorado Springs! You definitely can’t find bbq like this anywhere else for the taste, experience and price around here. I also love that he uses brisket that literally melts in your mouth, and meat that comes from a local Colorado farmer and his family. This is my new stopping ground for bbq going forward."

"Absolutely fantastic and some of the tastiest BBQ I've had. Service was fast and the owner, Stephen is beyond awesome! The brisket is absolutely wonderful whether sliced juicy or chopped. The bark is tasty and smoke flavor is the perfect intensity. Baked beans are smoky and flavorful and coleslaw is crisp and refreshing. And that pecan pie is perfection! 2 picnic tables to eat at in. Located on the premises of the El Colorado Lodge. A new favorite for sure!"

"I rode my bike to Manitou Springs today to try Otis's BBQ, I was blown away by the brisket I got! The smoke ring, the bark, tender and full of flavor, it hit all the notes. It came with three different sauces and I liked them, but to be honest I ate most of my lunch with no BBQ sauce at all. I posted a picture of just a couple pieces I had for lunch out of the pound I bought,(the tomato slice were mine from the garden, didn't come with my order) I can make several meals out of the pound of brisket I bought. They were real good about packing the food up for me so I could put it in my bike pack"
