"Old school diner vibe. I had a 1/4 serving of the Thing breakfast. The Texas toast was buttery and had crispy edges. My over easy egg was perfectly cooked. The sausage and hash browns were very good also. I was glad I asked for the green chili on the side as it had quite a kick to it. Admittedly I am a bit of a wimp when it comes to spicy foods. Obviously I received my clean plate sticker."

"Renowned local diner best known for its original purple castle location and green chili. This has been my go to breakfast diner since moving to colorado springs 20 years ago. Portion sizes are huge! My goto is the Grump - usually only a 1/4, sometimes a 1/2. They are now open at 7 so back in the breakfast rotation for us early birds! (They also now take credit cards)"
