"When I placed my order I had mentioned at least twice, maybe more that I had coupons, and needless to say, I probably paid twice for what I ordered. To be fair, he did come to the car to hurry the order. The food itself was about average for what you might expect from lower grade fast food...however, the strawberry/chocolate shake was quite tasty. The inside of the building wasn't super clean, but wasn't bad enough to not eat the food. For what I ordered, the twenty dollar + cost that I paid, could have been better spent somewhere else. However, if I had gotten the coupon price, I may have felt better about my purchase."

"Hadn’t been to a hamburger stand in years and the location on Colfax made me wonder why as this was literally the best hamburger stand meal I’ve ever had !!! I’ve gone back once more since then so twice in one month and I can honestly say it was equal if not better than the first time ! I ordered a corndog combo and a Oreo milkshake and the corn dogs were crispy and fresh like the oil I assumed had to have been just changed out or some thing because it was so light tasting not heavy or super greasy or anything, but when I came back the second time it was exactly the same. Also, the service was superior, prompt and friendly. If you’re over on West Colfax, in Lakewood, and feel like a burger or a corn dog hamburger stand is the place for you!! Also, that milkshake had to be made with real ice cream. It was so thick and creamy and delicious. My boyfriend and I ordered just one to share and we were literally fighting over it. It was so dang good.!!! Lol"

"It's rare when you run into one of these places in the wild, seems like bad ol' "Corporate America" haven't found them all! Anyway, this place DOES show it's age with its bewildering store structure and limited eating room. But I think it's part of that charm nowadays. The food is as expected, nothing fancy, and the prices are still better than other fast food joints, so there is that. Good ice cream, though. That thing never breaks down."
