Reviews
"Great laid back place with cozy booths, delicious chicken, great beer and good service. Highly recommend chicken wings - Buffalo and Post Dry Rub. The chicken tenders are also very good. They also have delicious pot pies to take home and bake."
"Really wonderful experience here. We tried to go to another spot (totally different cuisine) and had the worst service so we left before we could even order and happily came to Post. Our server was delightful, genuine, and accommodating. Our food was excellent all around. The portions are generous and after a day of brewery hopping, we probably could have shared plates. The deviled eggs were as delicious as all the reviews promised. The “thigh fries” were fun and an enormous portion. For entrees we got the chicken sandwich, a 4 piece bone in order, and chicken tenders. The side dishes were great, especially the collards. Perfect umami flavors- savory, a little sweet, a perfect tang, a little hint of smoke from the pork belly.. just perfect. The food and atmosphere were great but the service is what drove me to write this review. I’m just sorry I don’t remember the waitress’s name."
"I Really enjoyed my meal at The Post Chicken and Beer. The fact that it was on diners, dives and drives on the food network is what brought my interest to this establishment. I loved the deviled eggs. Perfect balance of soft to crispy with the added chicken skin! The gold medal winning beer is so good as well. I really loved the dry rub put on the chicken sandwich! It had such nice texture and flavor! The mashed potatoes were also really good! I can’t wait to come back and try more variations of the chicken hahaha. This place is truly great. The service was really good and the atmosphere is fun and welcoming. I look forward to coming back!"
"Often stop in here especially for lunch and the deviled eggs are a must have at every visit. Our server was prompt, funny and delightful during our visit. We got to meet some tourists out on Pearl Street and gave them a recommendation for the post and they were thrilled to try it out and get the suggestion. The roasted chicken with arugula and cucumber was super tasty."
"We ducked into The Post Chicken and Beer when thunderstorms threatened. Even though 2 out of 4 of us were vegan (and it’s a chicken place) they had delicious vegan options available. Our kids ordered the deviled eggs which they said were excellent. My son ordered the original cheeseburger which he said was delicious. I ordered the “tracksuit veggie bowl” (love the name lol) which was fantastic and my husband and daughter ordered the yoga pants salad. It didn’t come with the quinoa since they had just cooked a fresh batch and it needed time to cook down, so they just gave them more kale instead and my daughter and husband were happy. They said it was good. My daughter also got a side of mashed potatoes and gravy and she liked it. The service was a bit slow, but everyone was nice. We would definitely eat here again"
