"Not authentic Mexican food but that is a theme around Durango. No spicy salsa options, was given Tapatio. Lacking in flavor, I dosed everything in salt. Pretty expensive all things considered. Overall it was edible and the service was great."

"Ive been a regular of gazpacho’s for four years now. I’ve seen the transition into new ownership and at first it seemed to go smoothly. Unfortunately with the treatment from staff, the poor food quality and multiple attempts to fix the incorrect order I will never step foot in there again. I had asked the bartender to speak to the manager his response was “we have a manager but I have manager capabilities how can I help you?” I let him know I had been waiting for over an hour for my food which I had to send back multiple times. When my food did arrive it was merely thrown together in a sad attempt to correct a problem that should have been fixed after the first time. Sad to see such a good place go to the wayside. What was once a peaceful place to escape and relax from the world has now turned into more of a hassle than what it’s worth."

"New ownership has sure changed things. My family and I have been customers of Gazpacho’s for a very very long time. We’ve recently became regulars going at least once a week or every other week. Today’s service has us deciding we will never go back. The server messed up one of our items four times. The final attempt was obviously thrown on the plate and was basically a “F You” on a plate. We ordered a children’s hamburger that was extremely dry and had a rubbery texture. I honestly wouldn’t have even fed it to my dog. The manager was not much help either. I’ve recommend Gazpacho’s so often to travelers coming through and now it will be on my list of places to avoid. I understand mistakes happen but it’s how it’s handled is what matters and makes up for it and the sad attempts of comping one plate when our whole meal experience in general was ruined was an epic failure. Really sad to see what once was a staple in Durango turn into a place to avoid."

"First Review: Listen...This is the best Mexican Resturaunt in Durango, hands down. Fast service, excellent food, and great prices. The amount of food that you get for the price is phenomenal. If you’re on a date, definitely get the fajitas for two, and you’ll still have enough food for days. UPDATE: My first review still holds true. This place is amazing. Brennan greeted us at the door, brought us to our table downstairs by the fireplace, and then served us!! Ummm ... he was amazing. ASK FOR BRENNAN! We again, had the fajitas for two, margaritas, beer, and queso. Everything was phenomenal. We have a huge to-go container filled with delicious parts of our meal to have again tomorrow. We absolutely love this place. Thank you, Brennan and team."

"I hate doing this. I sought this place out in Durango because the higher rated place was 1) closed, and 2) on the main drag, and 3) looked like a highly rated place on the main drag. So, let's just say I did not get what I ordered, slowly, and a little short on frequency. I'll skip the detailed review and let you decide to go or skip. What do I know, right?"
