"I’ve tried several different bowls here and they’re all quite delicious. I love how fresh the poke bowl is. When I commented that the tofu bowl sauce was too sweet, they served it on the side and that was just the ticket. And the new green curry bowl is so warm and delicious! You people who complain about it being too expensive, you should try operating a restaurant and get back to me. But you’ll pay $9 for a premixed Paloma (they are quite good). No, no one is paying me for this review. I just stand up for local businesses that seem to me to be doing their best."

"I’m surprised by the poor reviews of this place - I loved my Thai Chili tofu veggie bowl. It was perfect for a cold and snowy day and way more food than I could eat in one meal, so it was lunch and dinner! Lots of rice, and also lots of flavorful tofu and edamame. The other veggies (peppers, carrots, maybe some squash?) were diced super small but added great texture and flavor. I literally took a pic because I liked the blend of flavors enough that I might try making something similar at home. Service was fast and they were friendly about letting my dog come with me into the indoor dining area on-site. I enjoyed my random stop at Avalanche Bowl!"
