"I don't understand all the negative reviews. I've been going there very often (unfortunately!) for nearly 4 years and absolutely have not had one problem. I receive the text when the drugs are ready, stand in line for a brief while, and have very friendly and helpful associates who assist me. I also get my yearly shots there and that goes smoothly, too. I won't go anywhere else!!"
"Very bad pharmacy. Call to talk to pharmacist, expect to be on hold for at least an hour. They do not care about people filling the same script every month. I was told that getting their stock, is random. They do not understand supply and demand. They don't order medicatication it comes in randomly. I don't know if that is true or not, just what I was told by the pharmacist. Not an employee, but the one who should be paying attention to medication demands. I suggest finding a different place to get your meds.."
"How many horrible reviews is it going take to get your act together? My prescription was “on hold” for over four hours. They didn’t call me to fix the problem and they didn’t answer my multiple calls (all three were disconnected after 30-minutes each). Only one of the four people working there could even tell me what the problem was and only after standing in two lines. How does a pharmacy allow this to happen?!?!?!?!?! Do better because too many people’s lives are counting on you to do your job well."
"We had the most awful experience with the CVS in Target. The location we frequent is on Prominent Point in Colorado Springs. Today I spent 2 hours and 13 minutes on hold with the pharmacy. Several times I called and waited on hold with two different phones. Finally, while on hold, I drove to the store and stood in line for 30 minutes. When my turn was up I gave my son’s name and medication I needed filled. I asked the gentleman working (who was incredibly rude) why no one was answering the phone. He said they were understaffed, but when I pointed out there were 8 people working behind the counter he told me they just weren’t answering phones. How can a pharmacy make a conscious decision to NOT answer the phone??? I gave my sons info and was told I could not fill for several more days. I explained that last month I filled the prescription and then was told by insurance to go back a week later for it to be re-run so instance would cover (which they did not). So the date was incorrect and need to be overrode. I waited another 20 minutes until another person explained that our insurance would not cover the name brand and I needed to have the dr resend the prescription. My husband and I called insurance and they have no record of CVS ever trying to run the medication—-because they did not. Our insurance representative offered to call the pharmacy which she did while we waited on hold. She was confident she’d get through because she had a provider line. After 15 minutes of waiting she said she’d never experience a wait like that on the prover line. So we went back to CVS where we were told our insurance would not cover the medication even though we had just spoken to them and they said they would. We had to ask several times for them to call our insurance provider and after another 20 minutes they finally called, spoke to our insurance and notified us that our medication WAS in fact covered. We were told the prescription would be ready in 20 minutes. It took an hour and a half. Today alone, we invested over 5 hours trying to get a medication that our son needs to function. Never at any point did a CVS employee apologize for their repeated mistakes and inept ability to do their job. In fact, we were made to feel like we were the problem and an inconvenience to them. It was an absolutely awful experience, and absolutely no fault on anyone’s part EXCEPT for CVS. I am appalled that these business practices are accepted—but they are because consumer simply don’t have a better option. Not only was the service we received poor, it was unacceptable."
"Avoid this CVS Pharmacy location at all costs. I have had nothing but issues the last few months and finally moved all the prescriptions to a different pharmacy despite living just minutes from this location. If you need to call and speak to a live person, you will wait on hold for an hour to never have your call answered. It can take several days for a prescription to be filled after it’s called in by a doctor. When you show up in person to drop off a prescription script or pick up a prescription, the line is usually all the way up the aisle and you may wait for 30 minutes. It’s not worth the hassle. I was patient and gave them months to hire more staff, resolve the issues, etc but it has gotten worse instead of better."
