"Horrible HORRIBLE Place! Birthday Party Disaster… Kids almost Drown right in front of the Lifeguard who didn’t move a Muscle (Tristan) . This place needs Better Management/Customer Service Skills. Room was stuck on Heat ….sweating and they wouldn’t let us crack a the door. This place is a Mess!"

"We had a birthday party here. The front desk staff were rude. They suggested parents send their toddlers by themselves down to the party room and demanded their parents have to stay upstairs. I would never in a million years pay for a party here. $350 and you don’t even get napkins. Horrible place for a party."

"We recently had a birthday party here, and won't be doing it again. $300 for 2 hours. You get only 5 minutes to set up the party room, and you can't even put up any decorations on the walls or ceilings. You have to walk completely through the swimming area. Dodging children, lifeguards, splashing, and it's so incredibly slippery. They gave little to no direction as to where the rooms are, and none of the staff were on the same page. I was told I could only get the room in person, then was asked if I secured it online. I was told to come 15 minutes early to sign paperwork, that I ended up already signing weeks before. There was no party prior to mine, but I had to sit there for 15 minutes and wait for my 5 minutes to decorate the room. Just, not the best. There are other places that include food, decor, drinks, and access to other activities throughout the rec center. I only give two stars because my kiddo likes the pool."

"I've given excellent reviews in the past for this rec center. We have have some of my children's best parties here. Last night was an absolutely awful experience. I took my young granddaughter to relax at about 7 PM. I try not to complain.. But so many things were unpleasant that here I am. First of all when we got in there the music was so loud, I could barely speak to my grandchild. The lifeguards were dancing around. One of them was Super loud and obnoxiously distracting the other lifeguards. So that was fine but they were not watching the kids At All !! So that was fine........ But then they began playing football across the long pool with the real football. They were flailing about and running. And I literally had to yell at one of them so they didn't knock my little four year old granddaughter over. There were Winging the football right over their heads of families and children in the pool. I had to walk my child back and forth for safety. They were having the kind of obnoxiously dangerous activity that I would have complained to the lifeguards about, except they were the lifeguards. Then, at eight o'clock, with thirty minutes left for everyone to swim, They pulled out the hoses and started hosing down the pool everywhere. fine. Except then they started playing again and leaving hoses everywhere for the little ones to fall over.. I really felt this whole evening was an unsafe environment. And I usually drop off my middle schoolers to swim. I will not be doing that with childish behavior from the ones that should be watching our children.!! I actually felt like one or two of the guys were trying to work, but they were so distracted by this loud boy with long hair and a ball cap on, he was like at his own pool party. . I am not trying to get anyone in trouble. But this is not the kind of job Where safety can be compromised."

"The Westminster Rec center is probably the best one across all suburbs of Denver. They have a big pool, fitness center, basketball court and many other sporting facilities in this huge rec center. Would highly recommend the rec centers to all the residents."
