"I really like this place. The owner was behind the bar and made a genuine and solid impression. We had the Marsala & the Val’Dostana and they were both great. The Val’Dostana was actually exceptional. The only disappointment was that this place has been open 8yrs& I’m just catching on."
"The girl and I stopped in late Sunday morning for breakfast. The restaurant was clean and has a nice ambience, with tables and booths in one room and a full bar in the other. Our server greeted left an immediate positive impression and continued to provide great service throughout our meal. She ordered some sort of Benedict Salmon Florentine dish that had polenta cakes instead of English muffins and man, the dish was great. She was nice enough to let me have two bites. Lol! I ordered the chicken fried chicken and scrambled eggs, which also comes with mashed potatoes and brown gravy. It sounded a little weird for a breakfast menu, but I figured they put it on there for a reason and let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious. I’m not kidding when I say that those mashed potatoes are possibly the best I’ve ever had and for breakfast! The eggs were perfectly cooked and the chicken fried chicken cutlet was crispy and light and seasoned so well. Seriously, this was unexpectedly one of the best meals we’ve had in Boulder, including most of the “fancier” places. We are going back this weekend!"
"Absolutely no redeeming qualities. Went with a group and got a variety of items, it was all expensive and terrible quality. Not inedible by any means, but all frozen, overcooked garbage. There was literally used vapes and empty plastic liquor bottles strewn around the host stand and dining area. Service was as slow as humanly possible. We had to get up from our table to get ourselves silverware, water cups, and the check despite this being a table service restaurant. This was on an off day where we were some of the only people in the restaurant. I was genuinely shocked by my experience. This was my first (and last) time visiting after years of walking right by, I guess I should’ve kept walking."
"This place is a hidden gem on the hill. Tucked away next to the Fox theater, Ado's serves high end food without high end prices. We started with the crispy fried brussels which were literally some of the best I've had with a slightly sweet sauce and a surprise of pistachios and sliced apple. Definitely a winner. The chicken marsala was a mile high on top of perfectly cooked risotto. The chicken tasted like it was basted in butter and wine and so delish. The New York Strip was surprisingly tasty with a good amount of fat to make it super juicy. Everyone swooned over the mashed potatoes. And, the salmon came with crisp green asparagus and roasted potatoes that were buttery goodness. We had a birthday in our group and Ado gifted us a piece of amazing guava cheesecake. Even though we were stuffed we managed to polish it off too. Overall, a really wonderful experience. Ado greeted us at the door, cooked our food, and served us with a smile. The only thing that could have been better was if he had more patrons since we were the only ones there on Wednesday night. I'll definitely be back!"
"Stopped in for drinks and brunch. Cool vibe with good priced drinks and food. I had your basic pancakes eggs and toast and was exactly what I expected. Perfect and filling. My wife had the chilaquiles and she thought they were delicious. No complaints. Cool atmosphere with good food. Come check it out."
