Aspen Dental - Westminster, CO

"I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this place. The only thing they are interested in is pulling your teeth and replacing them with implants or dentures, that's where the money is at. I went in for a dental emergency, they took x-rays and the dental assistant said I have a cavity that's pretty bad and I will need a root canal. She said the surgeon comes in once a week so I can get it done quickly. I also have my wisdom teeth and a broken tooth, but at this time those aren't the issues. Then the hygienist comes in and tells me the same thing and that I needed a deep cleaning. When the dentist came in, it was a whole different story. According to her, and I understand she is the dentist, I needed 7 teeth pulled and pretty much the rest of my teeth were full of cavities. Now mind you I can see the x-rays and there is only the one tooth with the cavity. She then has the "Office Manager", closing sales, come and grabs me to talk about cost. 20k which included 7 teeth extractions, all the rest of my teeth filled, a deep cleaning and implants. I told him I would like to start with the tooth that is causing me pain first. He then tries to tell me I need to do all the extractions at once. Here is the best part they can't get me an appt with the surgeon until the end of April because according to him the surgeon only comes once a month which makes absolutely no sense at all. This practice could careless about your actual dental health. If I wait another month it will cause more damage which means more money for them. Aspen dental please spare me your ignorant generic response. It doesn't do anyone any good. You should actually fix the problems you have like focusing on the patients needs not how much money you can get from them."

"I was confused when I was told my cleaning would be $150 out of pocket even though my dental plan includes 2 cleanings a year covered at 100%. I was told by the hygienist that since I got a "deep clean" treatment done over a year ago I was no longer eligible for the regular cleanings that would be free with insurance. She REFUSED to even submit a pre-treatment estimate to my insurance because she "knew" it would be denied. I called my insurance, explained the situation and gave all my dental history and they said there is no reason I couldn't get the regular free cleaning, and suggested a find another dentist since they were refusing to bill me for a regular cleaning. If you are told that you are not eligible for regular preventative cleanings if you had a dental treatment done in the past call your insurance! I'm horrified that I had paid that $150 for my last two cleanings because I was told it was my only option. Beware..."

"Staff was nice. Unfortunately I felt they were more about how much money they can get out of me then actually helping me. I had gone in due to hitting my face on concrete knocking my front tooth loose. They proceeded to take a full mouth of x-rays not focused on my actual concern. Told me I had a fracture and then gave me a treatment plan for my whole mouth and said that I only need a crown to fix my tooth . So i then tried to schedule this appointment to fix my tooth they did not try to accommodate pricing I was unable to do payment plan offered me to sign up for credit with them that would give me a discount?. Then wanted to do two separate hygiene appointments before I even did my crown, like as if my tooth was not on the verge of falling out and causing so much pain they did not take this serious. I had gone to another dentist they focused on my concern of my tooth and there was actually two fractures in my tooth and an actual plan for my real concern and they are doing payment plan with me."

"Really nice experience at this Aspen Dental location. The whole staff is very friendly and welcoming. There’s genuine care from all the staff as well. Although my visit was prompted by pain, I’m glad I got to book with them. I’ve definitely found my go to dentistry with the experience from today!"

"I have always had extreme dental phobia and usually cry the whole time. The people at this facility are very understanding and patient and helped me calm down. I actually enjoyed the experience for the first time in my life. They fixed the problem on my one tooth that brought me in there and explained the procedures that they were doing and why. They made suggestions about what procedures would be good for me to fix everything in my mouth and they let me make my decision about how much I want to have done. I highly recommend this Aspen Dental clinics."
