"Amazing dentists and dental staff. However, billing department is horrible. I made clear that I could not afford services that would exceed my dental insurance allotment. I am disabled and low income I was surprised at the end of my final visit when I was told there was an out of pocket cost because the services exceeded my coverage. I paid 1/3 of it and explained I would have to pay the remaining amount at a later date. Several days later when I was experiencing pain following the procedure, I was told I could be seen for the cost of an emergency visit. I explained I could not afford it given my insurance had been maxed and I already had a balance I hadn't expected. I was then told I had NOT reached my insurance maximum, that I should NOT have been charged, that the visit WOULD be covered by insurance and that I could call in 30 days after insurance was billed for a refund of what I'd paid in error. When I called after 30 days, I was told at that point that not only did I have an outstanding balance, but that it was almost 3 times more than the first balance they said I had that they later said I didn't have and now say I have. Horrible horrible horrible and very stressful. It is a balance I absolutely cannot afford to pay. No invoices were provided at the time of service. And the person I talked to said there were no notes made on my account regarding the conversations I SAY I had. Like I said, wonderful doctors. If you choose them and you have insurance and don't want any nasty suprises, verify costs, insist on getting all invoices at the time of service and get absolutely everything documented because the right hand clearly doesn't know what the left is doing! Poorly run"
