Today Hawaii BBQ

"Would be cool if someone from the restaurant could respond - I’ve ordered this place a couple times. I like it. But the chicken for the orange chicken (and apparently the katsu based on other reviews) appears to be flattened chicken nugget paste sort of meat…. Which is kind of unappetizing, if not still tasty…. Sadly I don’t think I can keep ordering this place if this is highly processed weird chicken pulp like it looks to be - can anyone provide some feedback???"

"The macaroni salad is amazing. I like to mix some of their BBQ sauce into it too. Ordering from here is Always a satisfying and never disappointing decision. Recommend every time for solo, date, and family lunch/dinner times!"

"The food is good. It was fresh and tasty. My husband had the combo and I had the Orange Chicken. I give the food a good solid 3 stars for effort. But it didn’t taste like Hawaiian Bbq I’ve had elsewhere. It’s not bad, just not what I was expecting."

"So glad to stumble upon Today Hawaii BBQ! Spam musubi was super delicious!! I ate two of them immediately and they are great warm (I have two more saved for tomorrow so I hope I can warm them up). Wasn’t too fond of the manapua so I would just load up on more musubi in the future. The grilled garlic shrimp was very tasty, as was the BBQ combo - I opted for 2 combo platter of chicken and pork, which included a small side salad and macaroni salad. I went to pick up for takeout, it’s a small very casual spot so only a couple of people were dining in but there were lots of other takeout orders. Overall very happy to stumble on this spot!"
