"This staff does not pick up the phone or return messages. The website does not post weather closures or postponed classes. You have to show up to determine if a scheduled session will occur. Frustrating to say the least."

"I chose the $14/month local pass and for $14, this is a great deal. You can visit other rec centers too with this deal. As far as Hiawatha - it has a beautiful basketball court with a walking/running track above. The lap pool looks great and wasn’t crowded when I visited midday and there’s a lifeguard on duty. The fitness equipment room isn’t super expansive, but has everything one needs for cardio and a weight area. There are bathrooms with showers and lockers and they appeared very clean and tidy. The staff at the front desk was also very polite and helpful. Would recommend and am happy to have cancelled my other expensive gym membership when his has everything and more. Also, lots of parking."
