"It was 99 degrees in the shade. The crowd was enjoying it as was I. It's a shame they can't get enough lifeguards. The neighbors want to kill the fun of a public park. No pickle ball! Is the park your own Country Club?"

"The redesigned pool is okay-ish for smaller kids. There is less shade on the kids area or adjacent areas than before. Some of the kids water features are lame (i.e. "spinners" that don't really spin with the water) or often broken (the water slide was out of commission for a lot of 2023). There's no changing table in the family restrooms. After having a shot at redoing this facility recently, Parks and Wreck could have done better. Overall, though, a good value time can be had during their kinda short season, but check the schedule before you go (kids area not open before 11 AM many days in 2023)."

"Large pool, little children have a separate pool. Free with rec. membership . Best place to be in the hot summer days. I dont smell the strong stench of chlorine. Large grassy area and picnic section. Come early on weekends or you will be on a waiting list. Love, love, love."

"Pool looks great but was closed. Would be great to update to hours on Google, because they are just totally wrong. And when you are with kids, it is really not great at 90f, to have the nose in front of a closed door. Thanks :)"

"Nice outdoor pool. The water was kinda cold but not that bad, great lifeguards and staff, and well maintained. I did enjoy my time at this pool in Congress Park. Would recommend this pool."
