"Very bad folks. I paid my bill and they "lost the payment." No refund. Still being hounded by third party debt collectors who call me names. Nothing short of life-ruiners."
"I had no idea I owed these people until I got the collections letter. They had my address and my phone number but couldn't bother to actually send me a bill. The hospital itself did a good job but since I don't want to ruin my credit from their poor billing practices, I probably will not return."
"We received a bill following a trip to St. Lukes ER. The bill was paid. We received a "final notice" bill. They then told us allow it a few days to post. Months later, we received a letter from a collections agency, despite the fact that we have a copy of our check, front and back, showing they received and deposited our check. We can't get anywhere with the collections agency, as they want money and don't care if we've already paid. Calling their billing location in Florida is like beating your head against the wall. They have provided no help and I don't know how we're going to get this straight."
"These guys didn’t update my insurance info when I gave it to them. They sent a 7 thousand dollar bill to collections and I’ve been dealing with it for 2 years now. I thought I’d gotten it taken care of after 9 million calls to them, the debt agency and my insurance. Today I got another call from debt collection for the bill from the DOCTOR for another grand. 8 months after I was told it was all taken care of."
"Their billing is handled by some fly-by-night billing company. On the bill it says "if you pay your statement balance within 10 days, you may take a 50% reduction on the balance due". I paid via credit card the same day I received the bill and took the 50% reduction. Following month I received a bill for the 50% reduction I took. I called their customer service and no one answered. Filled out the form to have them call me back which they never did. Ended up having to pay the full amount even though they advertise 50% reduction if paid within 10 days."
