"The French Onion Soup needed more salt. Service was good. Otherwise, the food lived up to the hype. Overall a good experience, considering they are basically a food stop halfway up the mountain. You have to wait in line to make a reservation but can't ask for a specific time, so it's really first come, first served. That was a little weird."
"This is a well situated pit stop at the top of Polar Queen Express (lift #5) on Telluride. Only 1 star because they open at 11a, weren't serving food, and the staff couldn't care less... prepair to be ignored. Location Location Location!?!"
"Very disappointing yesterday with their once delicious onion soup. I don’t know what they are thinking. We each ordered it for our entree and all four orders were a joke. We should have sent them back. We’ve had many times in past years and it was always filling and delicious. Not this time- lit was like a package onion soup mix or worse. Save your $$$$ at $28 per cup!"
"Such a cool idea, and super fun. A great way to warm up and have a little wine and food."
"We did not have a reservation for this place on the slopes with “French dining and libations”. We learned the hard way that no reservation means no real food. Plenty of empty seats apparently all reserved in the outdoor enclosed area. When we tried to order something to eat our choice was between candies and a “prosciutto sandwich” - a sorry ham and cheese on a soggy hero wrapped in a plastic film - something one expects to find at a gas station! The view was indeed spectacular."
