Reviews of arc Thrift Stores
"Nearly came to tears as the always friendly cashier stopped to help am elderly woman who was homeless First by covering the amount the lady was short and than by asking if she was ok and needed assistance . As i left i could hear them talking about getting her a caseworker. ABOVE AND BEYOND Brought tears to my eyes"
"The only reason I’m giving this location a one star is because of the staff. If you are looking for cheap clothing and items this is a good place to go with a wide selection. The staff though is a whole other story. The employees were rude especially at checkout. Then I was in the dressing room with my friend and we had the door slightly open to show our other friend what we tried on and the man who was over looking the dressing rooms decided he wanted to take a peak into the dressing room at me and my friend. We quickly shut the door and the man commented to my friend about how he liked what I was wearing and my body. Then when I left the dressing room he asked me about the item and said it was bummer I didn’t like it because he did like it. It was so uncomfortable and disappointing and I will not be going back."
"This Arc is along my commute, so I've been stopping in once or twice a week. I would say the pricing in this store is relatively inconsistent, but as a whole more reasonable than nearby thrifts. There are some things here that really shouldn't be re-sold (looking at you - crusty and moldy camping chairs), but I've been able to find some absolutely fantastic deals on furniture and home goods. Comparatively, Mile High has higher quality goods but the prices are absurd ($100 for a wood end table??) and it's cash only. Goodwill is more consistent but higher pricing (somewhere between Arc and Mile High) - and the product quality is about the same or slightly higher than Arc. The reason I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 3 (with 3 being reasonable and average) is because I've only ever experienced phenomenal staff interactions. Granted, I've only made purchases and picked up furniture (I've seen some poor reviews on the drop offs). P.S. - I'm a guy, so I don't typically even bother engaging in the clothing sections and this hasn't factored in to my overall review."
"Not the largest arc store but they certainly know how to cram a lot of good stuff in the limited space they have. Some of the better furniture selections I’ve seen, too. Worth a visit and take advantage of the 50 percent off deal (different color tag each day)."
"Quality of items are really good, prices are personal prices that are pretty high. Buyers please look at photos for references. Definitly not a honey hole for resellers. Profits aren't there. Still good to look through, I found a few prices only for myself and my other half stumbled upon one reselling item which was a back pack for $20. FYI Orange tags are new items, so no budging on that unless you want a manager to assist you. They are super friendly and very enjoyable. I'd probably go here just for the staff and pick one thing out for myself. Prices aren't worth it as you can get the same feom a dollar store or brand new at a Department Store or even cheaper. Depending on what you like. We're from Omaha and traveling to thrift here."
