"Ordered the brisket and was...sadly disappointed. I'm from Texas, and GOOD brisket is smoked at minimum of 12-18 hours, juicy, and absolutely a labor of love...generally. THIS brisket on the other hand, the ONLY thing that it had in common with REAL brisket was the marbling, which is to say it had more fat than meat, yet somehow was STILL dried out, congratulations on that though because that was a feat I've never seen before.all in all if you've NEVER eaten brisket before you'll be satisfied, but if you're from the home of briskets...don't waste you're money...it's quite literally over priced dog food...if you hate your dog that is."

"Great food at reasonable prices. We felt bad coming in so close to closing time, but the staff was super friendly. Our waitress was a sweetheart. We will definitely be back when we come through town again."

"We ended up here while searching for dinner. The waitstaff was understaffed but very friendly and awesome. The food on the otherhand was a huge miss for me. Everyone's French fries were raw and cold. While a couple people in our party enjoyed their entree, my sandwich was the saddest sandwich I have ever seen - or tasted. A thin piece of medium well meat on bread. Nothing else. At all."

"What a wonderful, dining and overall experience at the stockyard. Stopped on our way home from color weekend at Powderhorn. Tammy met us with a big smile and immediately took our drink order. Although it was busy excellent service! She recommended the green chili and it was awesome! Everything was terrific from the Waldorf salad, burgers, club, sandwiches, and pie, which we weren’t going to get and so happy we did. Everything made on site and you could taste it! If you’re ever in the area be sure and stop by, you won’t be disappointed, and we hope you get Tammy as your server to make the whole experience complete!"

"This one is hard to review. Steaks are way overpriced, especially with the amount of gristle. Portions are relatively small with respect to price. The food is a mix of canned and homemade food that feels pretty obvious. Drink prices are somewhat overpriced, too. The atmosphere is pretty fun, though. Nothing wonderful, but like a 1980's type diner/steakhouse. Comfortable in most respects. The service was about average, at best. While it was busy, it wasn't busy enough to warrant forgotten requests and the somewhat minimal attention paid. More effort was put into "regulars", which I completely understand, from a certain perspective. All told, I have no drive to go back, but the food was good enough to warrant a try. Perhaps this visit was a "one off" deal. The prices are still a little high, but it could be a decent experience for some. Try it, but temper your expectations as a new visitor."
