Tacos Garcia

"Best tacos in Delta, CO. I've heard, but not tried the other taco food trucks, but Garcia's is the best for a spot to sit and eat with family or to take out. Huge parking lot, which has been more inviting than one would think. Horchata is great, tacos are great, chili relleno plate is fire. Service is quick and easy. Prices have gone up slightly of recent but it's understandable as any small, local restaurant needs income to survive. I'm happy to pay the little bit extra for the experience. Atmosphere is casual. Food comes out fast! Love this place, it's the first spot I'd suggest if anyone asks, "Where do you wanna go for lunch?""

"My family and I LOVE Tacos Garcia. It’s the first place I ask to go when I come home from college over breaks. We’ve been going since the building was pink, and It’s amazing to see how far they’ve come. The customer service is always excellent, the food is great and you can’t beat the value for the quality!! They have so many meat options now, but our favorites are the asada, lengua and the al pastor. Both their salsas have a bit of a kick but are flavorful, and the guac is nice as well. As for the menu items, we always get a combination of tacos, fries and sopes with horchata. You really can’t go wrong."

"The cooks are great very friendly. One girl at the cashier needs to be more friendly and not be so serious. The other younger cashier was awesome very friendly and she knew the menu very well. Other than that it's a good eatery place to get fast food."

"Looking for a place to get lunch in Delta that wasn't a fast food franchise and saw this. Parking lot was pretty full at 1:30 pm so that was a good sign. Dining room was clean. Lots of foot traffic in and out, many of them Mexican - so another good sign? Authentic? Not an extensive menu but quite a few options for the meat on what you choose. Prices were good, I think everything was under $10. We ordered the chicken enchilada plate, chile relleno plate, and an asada taco. We asked if they smothered the items in green chili or an enchilada sauce. She said, "No, it's all dry " Figured we'd try it. The food arrived hot and pretty quickly. The relleno wasn't the worst I've had. My wife didn't care for her chicken enchilada at all. Basically the food was bland. If you used the green or red sauce they brought it added heat but not flavor. The rice looked like they added veg-all to it. Not a fan of butter beans (lima?) and peas in my rice. Probably the best part of meal was the refried beans. Can't say I'd recommend this place. There are a couple of more Mexican food restaurants just up the street, might want to try one of those."

"Update: second stop in less than a week on our way out of Ridgway. The first was not a fluke, breakfast burritos are best (chose mine with churrizo). Greet service again! Outstanding tacos and enchiladas. Highly recommend."
