"TRUST ME go to China Gourmet instead, thank me later. Wings far too salty, taste like they did a beer batter that left the wings with a unique after taste. chicken, beef and pork fried rice had virtually no meat. If there were any meat, it’s tiny pieces you could barely see. The rice was pale and bland as well. Lo mein was too salty and had a unique taste"
"Every grain of rice vanished! I must express my delight in giving this place a chance. The culinary experience is nothing short of fantastic, with flavors that dance in perfect harmony. Originating from NY, the owners have infused the dishes with an authentic taste that transported me to the vibrant food scene of the city. Despite driving past it countless times, nestled between King Soopers and Hobby Lobby on Woodmen, I regret not discovering this gem sooner. Today, I confess my oversight, and I'm convinced I should have indulged in this culinary haven ages ago. Without a doubt, I'll be a returning patron. Undoubtedly the best Chinese food in the Springs!"
"Delicious! Try the house special soup, crab cheese wonton, and walnut chicken. I was impressed by their way of making the wontons... so creamy and crispy. Just perfect, and friendly service as well."
"Absolutely love this place! The lo mein and fried rice sides are really good and I love crab rangoons, but a place that does them well can be hard to find. Rong Cheng calls theirs “crab cheese wontons” and they’re GOOD. They have become my absolute favorite as of late and I can’t wait to try their sushi too. Takeout is quick and the owners and employees are articulate, helpful, and friendly. This place is located in the other side of the complex, down from King Soopers and it’s unassuming storefront can be easy to miss (but that’s how you know it’s good!) Small and intimate inside but it gets packed! Easy parking."
"In order to go with the holiday traditions, my wife and I ordered Chinese takeout from a local business. We heard great things about Rong Cheng and how it should be our next destination. We ordered via phone and they told us to come in about 40 minutes. Upon walking in, we were greeted with smiles and thanks as we exchanged pleasantries and payment. The food was on-time, packaged efficiently, and quick. Overall the food you see was able to serve us for meals across 4 days. They are not light with their portion size here. To start off, the only thing that didn’t make it to the next day were the fried pork wontons. They were scrumptious. The traditional texture of the wonton met with the pork filling was just too good to pass up. Having them warm and fresh was the key to enjoying these all on the same day. Compliments to the chef on not dousing them in oil. The chicken and broccoli is by far my favorite dish though. The tenderness of the broccoli was duly noted. It was great to see big bushes of broccoli instead of just stems. The chicken was plentiful and flavorful. Great balance throughout and this would be my #1 order here. Orange chicken was my wife’s favorite by far. If you’re on the mild side, you would enjoy this orange chicken a bit more. Usually orange chicken is spicier at other restaurants (my preference), but this orange chicken definitely hangs out with the sweeter crew. She loved it. The beef lo meins presented thicker noodles than other typical Chinese restaurants in the area but still presented that typical beef lo Mein flavor. The chicken fried rice will definitely hit with those who enjoy white chicken and rice mixed with the typical fixings. They gave us plenty of steamed white rice and fortune cookies to hold us over. Also the containers they gave us for our carry out order of each entree was another highlight. The details of making sure that the Tupperware containers are quality enough to keep a tight seal around each of the entrees while storing them for later use in the fridge was a great move to ensure freshness at a later date. They even threw in a bonus bag of their dessert cookies as a holiday treat. Their generosity and kind gesture of just presenting a special bonus will never go unnoticed with customers. You can tell these owners love their craft and appreciate their fans. Overall, this place is the definition of your local family Chinese place. They will treat you like family, even when just ordering takeout! Support this business and they will deliver on all notes."
