"First time ever seeing real mountains! Was not disappointed absolutely beautiful. Praise God!"
"It is frozen at the moment. But there’s still good fishing. Picnic tables located around the park. Two parking areas, both paved, fir easy access."
"5 stars for what it is. It is nice neighborhood park. But I wouldn’t drive from far far away to visit it. It is mislabeled “lake,” which might give some people the impression that it is bigger than it is. It’s more of a pond or small reservoir than a lake. The views of the mountains are nice. There is a 0.9 mile dirt trail around the park. This is nice for a short/easy hike or bike ride or make it part of a longer walk/ride. Seems to be small fish in the pond. There is a fair amount of walkers at lunch time on the weekdays."
"A very nice place to get a good and pretty easy walk in. I'm 61 with COPD, and this is the perfect place for me to stay active. The scenery is awesome for photos! It's not over crowded and most dog owners are good about cleaning up after them."
"Good place for recreation, paddle boarding, fishing. Need license for fishing and non motorized boats. Has Porta lets for bathrooms. Not sure about handwriting stations. Clean and tidy. Has a dirt trail around about 85 to 90% of the lake but at a certain point the dirt trail end right into a parking lot so this breaks the flow. You can also cut from the trail onto sidewalk and this goes around the park continuously. Some decent inclines for running. Would make for a very short bike path given its only about 8/10 of a mile or so around the whole place. One parking lot right by the water is tiny so end up parking on street. Other lot down the road, next to the lake, but same property is next to a large grassy area and playground. Don't know if I would revisit for a workout because of how short the course is but certainly good for water recreations. The "beach" is naturally just dirt, so plan for a lot of mud."
