"Absolutely a great place to stay. Lots of hiking, wildlife, and family-friendly!!"
"To every single person that has ever played with insects of all types, ones that look like they belong on this plant and some that don’t. This was the best collaboration I’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing. It’s definitely worth the drive to see something this big in one place. We hade a wonderful time and would love to see more people going to this work of art/museum."
"A place for ALL NATURE LOVERS!! I visited here a couple of days ago and absolutely loved it! You could spend hours in the museum looking at all of the different specimens. The gift shop has some of the most unique pieces and items to buy. Herkimer, the largest beetle isn’t the only attraction here, the museum is a must see! I love supporting family operated business, and this is one. They have a campground as well, but I didn’t stay there. It looks like a nice place and there is cell service for those who need their phones."
"I loved it here and there's just not enough time in the day to look at EVERYTHING. It's not good if you're not into bugs because that's all there is besides one fruit bat. The lady working there was so nice and I wish I had asked her name. This place blew us away. The amount of bugs was incredible. And I ended up taking a photo of EVERY case. It's mostly butterflies but there is wayyy more other bugs too. Absolutely worth it. It's kind of in the middle of nowhere almost but you should do it, you won't regret it."
"This is a must see. First they show you a video about the history of the museum (which is actually interesting- I’m usually not into history stuff) , and then you walk around and see thousands of unusual bugs. And even a bat! My kids loved it."
