Reviews
"Tried the crispy eggplant bowl and was disappointed. Flavor was heavy and oily overall and the sides couldn't adequately counter that. Plus the bowl had a ridiculous amount of rice. Otherwise, pretty nice place. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing."
"Oh my gosh please don’t go here it’s a complete waste of money!! I’ve had good sushi burritos before and this just isn’t it. My food was not quality at all it was $40 just for my fiancé and I each to have ONE burrito. And it was SO SMALL! You’re better off getting sushi at a nice restaurant in downtown boulder"
"I'm not a big fan of poke bowls but these were delicious. We ordered the shrimp tempura and a chicken one but I forgot the name. Although the chicken one was good, the shrimp was my favorite. You do get plenty of chicken though. Don't pay attention to the pictures I uploaded. The presentation was so much nicer. I had already dug into the shrimp one before I took the picture."
"Update: the manager of the store did reach out after I posted this to apologize and take the Poke off my card. Appreciate it! Hope you guys get back to the awesome quality we’ve come to know and love. Original: so I’ve loved Motomaki since it came to 29th st. Went today, and was so disappointed with what I received. The tuna poke was so sad looking, and the taste was comparable. The taro chips that came with it were all crushed up, so essentially useless as a vehicle for the poke. The shrimp tempura burrito was okay, but how are you charging $34 for all of this??? Please get it together."
"7/4/22- On the pricier side of poke places. The appetizer we got had very little salmon in it and was emptier then their display one looked. The taro chips were good. The bowls are a good size, but are very rice heavy when compared to the toppings. I would be willing to eat here again when I'm in the area."
