"One of our favorite tranquil places to sit at a bench and enjoy the views. We love the small snapshots of wildlife like the geese, sometimes eagles, and other birds. It's nice to walk around the lake however the growth from all the rain has made it challenging to get at the lake's edges. It's a great place for some fishing, canoeing, and skipping rocks."
"A quiet and beautiful place for evening walks. The view of the lake with mountains in background is just amazing!! Quiet a few houses nearby were affected by the recent forest fire. Hope it will get back to its old glory soon!"
"Amazing views. Well maintained, wide gravel trail. Almost exactly a mile around the lake. Perfect for running workouts."
"Stopped here to grab a few photos of the sunset over the beautiful mountains. Pretty cool spot. It’s primarily used for dog walkers and runners, though has a stunning view. Parking was pretty limited, though it looked like there was more across the main road. I’d consider this a heavily trafficked area —there were way more people than what I enjoy."
"Nice 9/10 mile stone path around Harper Lake with amazing views of the mountains! The path connects with a larger trail that go pass the lake. There is a public bathroom site and about 15 parking spots."
