"Just had an excellent experience here at McCloskey. My husband drove over a speed bump which caused the skid plate to bend and start to drag when we were driving. I called to see if they could get us in. They said they can definitely take a look, but depending on what they found we would maybe have to leave our car if any replacement parts were needed. We made our way over and they were able to quickly get us in and told us of the issue and what they could do to fix it. They were great at explaining the options, why they were recommending it, and were transparent in the cost differences. The tech working on our vehicle even found a slight oil leak and looked into it. Ended up only needing to tighten something, but we appreciated that he saw something and didn’t just let it go. We ended up getting in and out in around an hour and a half. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area and will be seeing them again if needed in the future!"

"Had work done in august 2022 February 2023 my front end falls apart while under warranty they immediately claim another shop worked on it and hung up on me. Talked to the manager David and he claims because they couldn’t prove failure they couldn’t replace certain parts in my front end but I paid $400 out of pocket besides the warranty cost so they not only knew that the parts were worn but didn’t inform me. Big does not always mean better I’m lucky to be alive after allowing this company to touch my car I wouldn’t come back for an oil change. They are denying liability in multiple ways before I can even explain what happened the manager David claimed there is no way I didn’t hit a pothole he was the second employee to call me a liar but when confronted about the lie they told about my car being at another shop they didn’t have anything to say. Shady business tactics get swept up by these big names take your money to a mom and pop shop"

"My experience: Got stranded due to CV axle going out and power steering, so I chose to do business here because of their online ratings! Was told my vehicle would be out the same day called to check up on it right before closing no answer!! Next day I called to check up on my vehicle was told I would get a call back before noon No call!! Called back at one was told my vehicle was up on the lift, and was almost ready! I was told they would call me back within the hour and guess what I had to call back!! Finally, my vehicle was ready I went to pick it up David the GM said that the CV axle was ready I asked if the power steering was checked into he claimed he knew nothing about it, but he was willing to make it right due to several of their mistakes told me take it into his other shop McCluskey auto 9 AM sharp Monday morning and that he would have an answer and estimate by noon I believe in second chances, so I gave him the benefit of the doubt took it in Monday at 9 am did not receive a call at noon I had to call and was told they hadn’t gotten to my vehicle yet, but that they would call me before the end of the day No call!! Picked up my vehicle next day. No questions asked did not want to continue doing business with either company, And will look for another mechanic for future repairs!"

"Just like I stated with mccloskey automall The employees there are very kind and professional. However. without exaggeration every single time I’ve brought my truck there that I’ve owned for four months to fix mechanical issues that to a junior mechanic are very simple takes them over two hours regardless if I have an appointment. An example of this. brakes are squeaking I wanted them to check the brakes and since the tires were going to be off rotate the tires I come back two hours later after I was told it was only gonna be 45 minutes they had not even touched the brakes nor rotated the tires and my truck was sitting on a lift waiting for a tech. They either blame it on the lack of techs or they blame it on their new computer operating system just like every other business in this town does. My theory is that businesses don’t have covid to blame for their incompetence anymore so now it’s all about their updated system not cooperating properly. I needed my truck to run my business so I told him to take it off the lift and I left there without a single thing resolved with my truck. A time before this they needed my truck to replace the back sensors that were not functioning prior to me even buying the truck. They needed my truck for three days to replace two back sensors. How long did they tell me it was going to take you ask? One day. Just be forewarned that if you’re gonna take your truck or vehicle there expect nothing short of a two hour wait, If they even get to it at all. Do you not trust their timelines that they tell you. Sidenote when I bought my truck I randomly checked my oil a couple days after I bought it and it was pitch black. Come to find out the oil has been changed for months."
