"If you're a first time car buyer, shopping for a used vehicle- I hope you read this before purchasing a vehicle here. As a local teacher in the area, Ive driven past this dealership and always thought it looked so nice. I did not realize the tactics they are using to make sales will make you feel like you're haggling at a rundown car lot. We came in for a scheduled test drive but ended up looking at another car that I fell in love with. Greg, our salesman was absolutely pleasant and knowledgeable. Its worth noting that he went above and beyond, and I feel bad having to write this review as he did such a great job. We made a last minute decision to move on with the purchase as the dealership was closing and I am very appreciative to Greg for accommodating us. After we agreed on a price and I gave them a copy of my pre approval letter, the nightmare began. I was asked to fill out some information, and I complied without fulling reading the documents I was given. We then waited and waited until finally I got called to meet with Kevin about the rate (which I did not understand because I had already given them my pre-approval letter); and also a warranty (which I already stated I did not want). I was told that unfortunately my rate would not work and that my pre approval I had already obtained from a trustworthy local credit union was "not true, because of my car choice". Kevin said that he had already checked this document with them, and that it was not accurate as he found they were quoting a higher rate. At that point I realized that the paperwork I had filled out earlier was a credit application; which i did not need or want (this has negatively impacted my credit score). Kevin proceeded to tell me since my pre approval was incorrect, he had managed to find other (much higher) rates. They kept me here so long through this process that I was close to breaking down, and saying yes just to leave. I felt bad that at the end of the day, after hours, they were spending so much time with me and I was very uncomfortable saying "no" for a fifth time to Kevin offering me an extended warranty. Kevins pushiness eventually came up as a red flag to me and I decided this was not an okay situation, as I felt extremely pressured and uncomfortable. At this point I had spent almost 5 HOURS at this dealership!!!! I could tell that Kevin was disgruntled and wanted me to sign so he could go home. I told Kevin, I deeply apologize, but i need to call the credit union and I was not ready to make this deal. I drove home and literally cried I was so stressed and disappointed in my purchasing experience. The following morning, I called the institution which gave me the pre approval letter, and it turned out they DID NOT receive any inquiry from Lexus!! WHAT!? So either Kevin lied to me about my pre approval letter I had received. Or he did not know what he was doing and ran the report for the wrong lending institution (I'm frankly not sure which is more concerning). Ive been receiving credit impact notices all day due to the hard credit pull the Lexus dealership did WITHOUT fully informing me of their actions! There goes my excellent credit score! This dealership claims, "they are "dedicated to providing customers with exceptional experiences"; this is hands down the most exceptional nightmare experience I've had in trying to buy a car. Management- I can see other reviews where similar situations have happened in the past; why are you not doing anything to prevent this from continually occurring?"
"This place is more like a luxury resort than a dealership. Putting green, multiple coffee/soft drink bars, grand piano, movie theatre, and restful mountain views will satisfy you while you wait for your chariot to be serviced. Greg, our wonderfully helpful and zero pressure salesman was superb. The only problem is you won't want to pay for your new ride! The finance manager is unpleasant; listening to a concert of people scraping their fingers on a chalkboard would be better. If you can get Greg to help you find your luxury ride then buy pay for it elsewhere, I'd recommend it!"
