"Don’t bring your diesel trucks here! Was having an issue with my 1997 f250 7.3 so I brought it in for diagnostic. The mechanic said I needed a whole new engine and there was no other fix. Ended up selling it because I couldn’t afford a new engine. Followed up with the guy I sold it to out of curiosity and he said he just put a new fuel lift in it and it ran just fine… Maybe the mechanic isn’t knowledgeable on diesels or maybe they were trying to rip me off? Either way, not using this mechanic anymore, untrustworthy. Two stars because the receptionist was friendly."

"My granddaughter is really hard on her vehicle. She brought it to Chapmans about last October with transmission problems. Chapmans replaced the transmission with a Jasper rebuilt transmission. Something still was not right with it. She took the car to Parachute and had more trouble. Mandi arranged for a shop in Grand Junction to look at the car. They were unable to help because of the Jasper warranty. Mandi arranged for the car to be taken to another shop in Montrose. After more weeks waiting, the shop in Montrose, working with Mandi and Jasper put another transmission in the car. Chapmans stood behind all of the problems and worked well with the other shops to resolve the problem. All of the other work did not cost me any extra. Chapmans has been my go to shop for many years. Oil change, brakes or any other problem."

After arriving I was met by smiling faces and people willing to help me out in my struggles. The repairs were made on my vehicle in a timely manner at a cost that was reasonable. JB, Mandi and Charlotte were just outstanding and the work was flawless. Thanks to them my travels were uneventful. I would recommend this facility to anyone who wants a job done right."
