Proto's Pizza in Lafayette, Colorado is not just a place to enjoy delicious pizza, but also a place to experience gracious service and a warm welcoming atmosphere. Our mission is to create the best pizza you've ever tasted, regardless of whether you're Italian or not. We believe in abundance, but we also believe in sharing it with others, which is why we support local non-profits that help those in need. Our 3L Foundation specifically works with children in Thailand who have faced abuse, neglect, and trafficking.
In addition to our mouth-watering pizza, we also have a nearby bar where all are welcome to relax, grab a drink, and enjoy good company. Located right next door to our Denver Proto's location, our bar is the perfect place to unwind and socialize. "Delicious food and excellent service!!! Traditional style Italian pizzeria with that classic thin crust hand tossed crust. Try their Italian sodas!! And their garlic infused olive oil is awesome."
"First off, when you walk into an establishment, and you see the person who's going to be making your food and she has a scowl on her face, can't simply acknowledge you or fails to smile, I recommend turning around and walking out. And that's what we should have done today. While the person who we ordered our to go pizza with was very nice, the cook wasn't and the pizza she made was horrible! It was burnt in spots, flatter than paper, had very little to no toppings in most spots and was probably the hardest piece of cardboard I've ever been handed. I will be disputing the charge for this "pizza" and I won't step foot in this place again. There are many other places that know how to make a $25 pizza edible."
"I had the Pontiff Pizza and a Caesar salad. Overall I was not very impressed and expected a little bit more. The pizza and salad both were bland and flat.. not too much flavor, though the crust was good. Also felt the service was subpar - even though it wasn't very busy it was difficult to get attention to order more drinks or get the check. I was not very impressed by Proto's."
