"I have been going to Keys to Living Christian counseling for over a year now. There was a front office staff member that made insurance and rescheduling (because life happens and things change) difficult, however they are gone now. Now the first amazing front office personnel has an equally amazing partner! If there are billing issues, I am made aware of! I have multiple mental health diagnosis, been through many counselors (many of the switchings was not of my choice...i.e. insurance) and thought to try something different, Christian based. The atmosphere when walking in to the office is comfortable. I can only speak for my counselor, for their session space is very insightful on creating a calming area. My counselor is humble, compassionate, helps me with perspective on life through the words within the bible, and is very encouraging. I would recommend this place to anyone and advice them, if one counselor is not a good fit, advocate for yourself and try working with another person before writing off the whole place. Everyone here (now) are an excellent ensemble to help you live your best life!"
"Keys to Living was just fine, but DO NOT put your credit card on file with them! I am fighting a couple double charges now and their billing service is absolutely terrible!! Extremely rude!! It took 5 phone calls for them to call back, never answered during “service hours”. I had to call Keys to Living and let them know before their billing service would answer."
"I was in a bad spot, and I needed help. I came to Keys to Living, and at first they seemed interested. That is, until I told them that I planned to use my employer's EAP plan to cover services. After that, they lost interest real quick and even quit answering my email questions about it. I didn't sense much compassion from them about this."
"I am actually embarrassed that I ever actually recommend their services to anyone in the past following my own experience going on two years ago. I can’t recommend this so called “Christian “ counseling service to anyone. It is in my opinion that in order to receive secular level accreditation that they have thrown Christ out with the bath water. Rather than try help my marriage, my spouse I felt was encouraged to seek divorce even without scriptural reason to do so. Another counselor there basically threw in the towel when the going got rough. When it was suggested that we seek counseling through our home church, her counselor warned her to be wary of any potentially unaccredited counseling going so far as to encourage women to stay in abusive relationships (which I can say that there never was on my part). I since met the church’s counselors and they are working on receiving their own accreditation and remaining Christian while doing it. I think that the truth was their counselor was afraid that they would succeed where she failed. My advice is save your time and money and steer clear of this place. - Tim L."
"Easily the worst and most reckless experience I have had with any "professional service" industry. Each counseling session had no direction or control by the facilitator what so ever. Utterly offensive to hear a therapist give medical insight and advice that helped tear apart a marriage based on opinions from a practitioner that had absolutely no medical background or any scientific evidence to support her opinions in any way. If anything this Christian Marriage counseling over the course of only 2 1/2 sessions helped fast track a divorce instead of salvaging one... and all for the modest price of about $150.00 a session. There was no evidence of any Christian based support or a safe open environment to convey any information. I would never recommend this service to anyone or anything it offers. You simply don't offer information about drugs or drug abuse as fact when all of your information is completely false and inaccurate, then not have to take responsibility for the influence is caused."
