"My 19 year old daughter arrived at her 4:00 appointment at 4:04 and they refused to see her. She is in a mental health crisis, hence the reason she was going there. When I called to speak with the Mental Health therapist, Anita she has zero compassion or care for the situation and said she should have been on time and had her paperwork filled out prior to coming. I’ve never encountered a mental health facility that only accepts perfect patients. The professional thing to do would have been to let her fill out the paperwork and explain to her the session would be much shorter than normal but then she would be ready to go for her next appointment. Instead she sent a 19 year old that’s already in a mental health crisis out the door with zero help and even more upset than she was when she came in. THIS IS WHY PEOPLE WITH MENTAL HEALTH GIVE UP!!! Thanks Anita for making things worse for a 19 year old seeking help because of your lack of empathy and compassion. You are definitely working in the wrong profession."
