"Yvette in the office is AMAZING. Only reason it's getting two stars. She will bend over backwards to help you, and I had a lot of issues she had to fix. BUT, the actual therapist was not helpful. Twice cancelled on the day of appointment, then two others she cut the session short. Only a little over a month of visits, but yet NOTHING was done. No real questions about my conditions, no treatment plan set up, nothing taught to me to deal with my issues. The actual therapy part was pointless, nothing was done."
"Caring, compassionate, VERY responsive to messages and voicemail, and well-trained professionals. Intake process went smoothly and quickly! The agency did a great job matching me with a counselor that is trained in DBT and trauma therapy techniques."
"My experience with Myisha and her company was horrible. After 3 visits we still had not started any type of conversation about why I needed counseling/therapy but instead practiced breathing activities and ways to cope with stress. Her business practices are also terrible. She billed me incorrectly and when she reprocessed the claim to my insurance it left a $20.00 balance. I pay $50.00 out of pocket for each visit and my insurance covers the rest. When I called her she explained that I do not have a balance due. It was an error due to the reprocessing. Now over a year later I am receiving a bill from a creditor. I will never recommend her to anyone and I have also informed the counselor that referred me to not refer her to other patients. Plus there is the small print that cost me $200 for an appointment I cancelled on a Sunday for a Monday appointment because it was not 24 hours notice. This company has only added to my mental health issues and at the time, threatened my sobriety. Because of this companies actions I feel tainted towards all therapists. P.S. I see that a counselor that I had has left TWENTY SIX reviews. Why on earth would one of the employees leave reviews? Hmmm, I wonder why? Jane, I suggest you get a different second job. Something that breathing exercises will help with. Like maybe swimming?"
"Some of the sketchiest business ethics around billing & payment I have ever seen locally here in Omaha. Beware they will go open season on the CC you're required to provide at intake (super shady practice in itself I had never seen from any other MD or therapist practice). They will charge you without any heads up or prior consent outside of the intake paperwork signed before initial assessment. For me that was 9 months ago. The owner will then direct you to the fine print on the intake paperwork. In my opinion any owner constantly going back to the fine print of intake forms is not a person A. You should ever leave a Credit Card with and B. a company and guiding philosophy I want giving me life help. This is my first ever negative Google review. That's how shady and unethical their billing practices are. To be fair the two counselors I worked with I really liked and were helpful. Unfortunately the lack of communication around what's being charged, when is it being charged, and how much is being charged make it impossible to continue their services. Update: Since a few negative reviews were left last week (mine included), Omaha Trauma Therapy is now having their own therapist and employees leave 5 star rankings and reviews for damage control. As I stated before, beware, they have incredibly sketchy business practices around billing and payment. Their billing and payment is as transparent and honest as their 5 star Google reviews (all employees, family and friends)."
"Would not recommend! Please save yourself valuable time and money. Myisha blindly charged my credit card for over $700 without notice, knowing that my insurance covered her services. Following that she took 3 months to issue a refund to me. During a time in my life when I was low and seeking help, her inconsiderate, and distasteful handling of her clients is appalling. I’d recommend taking your business elsewhere to a more competent therapist who wholeheartedly cares about their clients."
