"It was our first time stopping in and we just had an all around great experience! There were two very helpful gentlemen working there when we stopped in, but we were mainly helped by George. He was very knowledgeable on the types of teas we were looking at as well as giving us history and tips on how to steep tea as well as information on types of tea pots. Very happy with the experience."

"I've been coming here for the loose leaf tea since I first learned they carried a tea I liked; it's a great selection at a good price. I've looked online (out of curiosity) and I couldn't find a better price on the tea I drink, and I'd rather support a great local spot. Friendly service and great pricing for the tea connoisseur. They can also prepare the drink for you, but that's not my thing. Overall, I would recommend this place over any other."

"I no longer live in Des Moines, but this is still my favorite tea spot. I used their online ordering service to get some of my favorites (Earl Grey Supreme, English Breakfast, and a fun surprise Iron Goddess). The ordering process was simple and intuitive, and my package ended up delivering within 3-4 days and came in cute packaging with a handwritten note. 10/10 will keep ordering from them."

"This is such a cute shop in the East Village. They have a wide selection of teas and the staff are clearly knowledgeable about their products. It has a very cozy feel. In addition to loose leaf tea, they also sell tea making/drinking supplies. There are areas to sit and visit with friends. While I've never had an issue finding a parking space, it is in the EV so parking could be a concern. The prices are very reasonable and the tea is superb. When buying loose leaf tea, they include instructions on the bag with the amount of tea to use, temp to heat water, and time to steep."
