"My daughter and I stopped in on a whim after visiting the children's bookstore next door. So many beautiful plants in all sizes. I loved that they had a pet friendly section, as we would love more plants but have 3 kitties at home. So many cute pots and other items as well. The staff were busy setting up some new tables, however they all said hello and made sure to know we could ask questions if we had any. Their website shows a great selection of classes and workshops they offer, and it looks like a fun place for private events also. I don't know much about the Highland Park area, however I was happy to find out the store has been open since 2017, so am hopeful that they stick around as this business is a great addition to the DSM area!!"

"Love this Des Moines staple! Art Terrarium are pioneers in the local plant scene and have just moved to Highland Park in the last year and it could not be a better fit for them! I’ve always loved getting my plant loving friends and family gift cards here as it’s an experience getting to pick out a plant and potting it right there if you wish! I also love that they offer events and classes. The manager Franky is such a light in the neighborhood and always so helpful! He also makes such beautiful terrariums! Definitely checkout this shop!"
