"TRUSTED PALS IS NO LONGER ACCEPTING NEW APPLICANTS FOR INSURANCE. I don't know what happened, but as of the time of my review, Trusted Pals is not insuring new pets. This is really sad, because when I was looking for insurance (for my then 12 year old pup,) Trusted Pals made it to the top two insurance companies I was considering. They had good plans that were customizable, affordable, with comprehensive coverage. I will keep an eye on this company to see if anything changes. Definitely consider Trusted Pals if they start issuing policies again in the future."

"I've had their insurance for over a year now. They not only have the best prices, but have covered more than any other place that I've seen. I do agree with other reviews that payout can be a slow process but it's never failed to go through and for me, I can afford the wait. They also give a 5% off for service dogs which is a bonus. They did increase the prices from last year by a few dollars but as long as it stays within budget I'll be sticking with TrustedPals."

"I have trustedpals insurance for my new puppy, but I'm absolutely canceling it. Though they have plans that are considerably cheaper than the rest, I have still have yet to be reimbursed for any of them. I'm in an ongoing struggle to get anything reimbursed that includes being told they don't have documents that I have uploaded to their website and sent to two different emails multiple times. Don't waste your money even if it seems like to might save some, you basically don't have insurance."

"I’ve had Trusted Pals for about two years now. At first, claims were processed fairly quickly but now it takes about 4-6 weeks to receive reimbursement. I’m okay with waiting for that timeframe, however I do wish there was communication about the status of the claim without having to call. Other than that, I recently compared Trusted Pals to other insurance companies and I still believe this is the best one for me. It covers things that many places do not. UPDATE: My policy clearly states that dental extractions are covered. I’ve called at least 8 times and each customer service rep verified, and they were just as confused as I was when I saw that the claim was DENIED. I submitted an appeal and I still haven’t heard anything back. At this point, I doubt I’m getting my money back. Canceling my plan as soon as I find a more trustworthy insurance."

"I haven't had a lot of experience with TrustedPals Pet Insurance yet. I adopted a 2 year old dog at my local animal shelter at the beginning of November, 2020. I signed up for pet insurance with TrustedPals the following week. I paid for a year of pet insurance in advance. I took my dog to the vet for a routine checkup and shots at the beginning of December and filed my first claim with TrustedPals a few days after that vet visit. Unfortunately, I didn't get any kind of email confirmation from TrustedPals after filing my first claim. I was hoping they would at least send me an email, saying that they had received my claim. So far, with my limited experience with TrustedPals, I can only say that I wish they had better communication with their customers. I called to ask about this issue and I had a very good experience talking with Brandon at TrustedPals. He was very kind and helpful. And he told me that he would contact the claims department and ask them to email me to let me know that they received my first claim, and how much of that claim will be able to go towards my yearly deductible. I'm hoping that they will be better about communicating with customers in the future."
