"My city has their insurance through CWG. A water main that ran right under my driveway broke and completely caved in my driveway and almost swallowed my car. I submitted pictures of the incident and a quote to repair the driveway after the city dug what was left out to repair the main. They gave the information to CWG, who promptly denied any liability of the city behind a Tort Act. Thanks a lot."
"In the middle of a claim right now and returning your calls is not a priority. Into week 3 of my claim 1st day after filing my claim took 5 days 20 voice mails and 8 emails to get my vehicle claims adjuster to return my call in the end she did not her boss did. Said she had been affected by the storm as well and had intermittent email and cell service. I asked "why is she being assigned claims then? Why is her voice mail the same claim of calls returned with 24hrs?" Your an insurance company you of all people should probably have a process in place when disaster strikes. No pun intended So week 3 we have made it thru 8 of the 13 vehicles totaled. But I have spent the last 2 weeks calling my equipment adjuster to no avail. 7 phone calls and 7 voice mails later over 14 days and still no return call I had 6 feet of water across my parking lot from a flash flood and it has wiped out numerous pieces of equipment. My equipment adjuster still has not called me as of the posting Amy Hardesty seems to be very casual with returning calls when it impacts your business."
"I had a workmens comp. claim and this is the company my employer uses. Unfortunately I had terrible service from Laura Courtney. I was supposed to get an MRI and the Dr. Office sent a request for approval and she hadn't done anything about it for 2 weeks! I continue calling as well as the doctor office and we keep leaving messages. Her voicemail did say she was out of the office for a few days, but not for the whole 2 weeks. At the 2 week mark, I ended up talking to someone else at the company telling her my concerns and wouldn't you know right after I got off that phone call, my representative Laura called me back after 2 weeks! Finally got my MRI approved that day after over 2 weeks of waiting in pain. Never did I ever hear or get a follow up from this company. TERRIBLE SERVICE."
"This company treated me so poorly im surprised their even allowed to stay in business, their actions really can affect people's lives and they could care less. If they tell you to go see one of their doctor's for an evaluation exam, here's some advice, take a lawyer with you and video tape the process, you could've spent several years dealing with many doctors for your injury and this company doctor they have you see will evaluate you in five minutes with no test, MRI,x-ray and have your case shut down, no payments or treatment after seeing their guy. This doctor is amazing he'll diagnose you in five minutes and according to him your just fine, what a joke and really sad at the same time"
"Filed against : Continental Western Ins Co 11201 Douglas Ave Des Moines IA 50322-3780 Complaint Description: Agreed to annual price. Sent a bill nearly doubled that. Canceled but no reimbursement. Set up contract agreeing to $107/year. Get a call on a later date from rep that being a vintage camper van, I'm not able to camp in it. I agreed and told her that wasn't a problem. I later receive a bill for nearly double that at $93. This was only a couple of months later. Called to see about increase, was told they don't insure vans and that they could get me a number for different company that does. Faxed cancellation letter because it was a binding contract, even though these guys want to double my rate without my consent or knowledge. Took about 20 days of hassling different companies to get the information needed tow reimbursement. Officially canceled plan 08/19/2016 and I paid up for a full 12 months. The reps even read all the notes on my account from each time I called and stated word for word what I told them. This is sketchy business. Wouldn't trust these guys. Wanted to spread word. Your Desired Resolution: Just to prorate my account and learn from this incident."
