UPS Customer Center

"Worst customer service I have ever received. A package continued to be delayed when sent to me but there was no communication from UPS to tell me why. "Trey" advised me that "corporate" was not allowing them to deliver a package to me because there was construction on my street (I have received packages from Amazon, Fed Ex and the USPS in the last two weeks). I asked him why they aren't communicating this information to corporate when they are local and know what streets are open. He asked me if he was supposed to call the CEO and tell him that (CEO is a woman BTW). Explained to him that part of customer service is getting things done and he told me I should call the CEO to tell her my street is open. He told me if I wouldn't go pick up the package at the Coralville center or one of their drop points he would just send it back and then I wouln't get it at all. I asked for a manager and was told there isn't one and I should just call the 800 number. In the past I have always picked UPS for shipping because their drivers are nicer and more professional than the Fed Ex or USPS people. After this experience, I will definitely shop around more and UPS will be my last choice."

"They said they had our package on the phone but when we drove their they didn't and left us a note saying to go pick it up but we drove there for nothing"

"They were very helpful here. When trying to send my package would have been really expensive they were nice enough to admit it and suggest other places. (However if they were still a decent price the label would have been good for another 2 hours after it was created) They even carried my package to my car in the rain."

"I paid for two day shipping without a signature and UPS decided not to deliver my package. After calling customer service, I was told that the drivers can decide not to deliver a package for any reason. Rather than contacting me to let me know, the driver instead dropped my package off at the distribution center to be picked up. If I wanted to pick up my package I wouldn't have paid for two day shipping for it to be shipped to my address. Further, I was told that if I wanted it to be shipped again to my location, it would take a minimum of two business days. Guess I'll be returning my shipment as it was time sensitive, hence the two day shipping and guaranteed delivery date."

"Previously had no problems with my packages until I moved to a new neighborhood that is currently being developed. Google maps recognizes the address and even shows a street view, however, the UPS drivers can't seem to figure that out...I now live in a tiny town of 2,000 people! How hard is it to locate a house?! I had two important packages (gifts) which I had been tracking all week and then received an email saying that my address, as entered, was incorrect. Really? I was at home all day waiting for them and no call from them or anything. How is it that FedEx had absolutely no problem locating me just days before? I called and asked UPS what the problem was and the guy said the driver was likely TOO LAZY to figure it out. Seriously?! I had to drive out there and pick up my packages in negative degree weather because a guy didn't want to do his JOB?! How do I write corporate?? This place is awful!"
