"Just started working here a little over a month ago. They are who they say they are and seem to honestly care about their employees. I'll update this post after I've been here longer but as of right now, I'm glad I chose to go here versus some big mega carrier. Edit: Been here for 5 or 6 months now and still loving it. Great company. Really like a whole other family. Think I'll be sticking around for a while. Edit again: been about a year and a half now. They had an opening for local driver so since I had some life changes that was better fit for me now and I jumped on it. Still loving it here. Still loving my Crawford family. Never have to say who I am when I have to call in for any reason. Only reason I ever had to wait on any things that were shop related was due to needing parts to be delivered. Recently we had a big blizzard and with the high 40-50+ winds, I was nervous to drive, no one pressured me or made me feel like I ever needed to do anything outside of my comfort zone. I just can not say enough good things about being here. Best choice I ever made was joining the team at Crawford."

"Figured I’d do an update from my review from shortly after I started 5-6 years ago. Per some of the reviews, no I’m not asked to do this review. Or my old one. I am not related to anyone here. I been here going on 7 years, I personally do not have a driver facing camera, I believe the drivers that have to have the facing cameras are either new drivers with no experience or drivers that have had accidents and issues and insurance requires it in order for them to insure you without skyrocketing the rate thousands of dollars. As far as micromanagement, I personally have never felt that. I sometimes will go all week without a call or message from dispatch since I have my load information. They give me my info and leave me to do my job, now if someone is new to trip planning or having issues with being on time and not communicating issues, then I could see them calling to check in and if you are having problems or what so they know how to run and schedule a driver. I have personally seen drivers who will demand that they aren’t sent to area a b and c, and won’t drive much past sunset, and want to be home 3 nights a week, yet get upset when they don’t get 4000 miles in a week. They have done very good about running me miles when I want to be out longer, and if I am getting burned out and need a couple shorter weeks, or have dr appointment or need to be home, they are very good about doing so, but on those weeks I expect my check to be a little less since I’m not available, and I think some guys expect to be home all the time and not have to drive full shifts yet they get paid the same. Since I started here, the owner has put a lot into this company, from a new shop and terminal to new trucks with great options and the good engines for pulling weight up mountains, to apu and fridges, direct tv with the added bonus for big football fans like me of the Sunday ticket. Which was awesome until now directv no longer has it. But just goes to show that he puts money into this so drivers are happy. If I have ever had a problem, chad, Eric, Nikki, Paul, or Gregg himself took the time to listen and would find out an answer for me or explain to me what was going on so I understood. When my dad passed awhile ago they gave me plenty of time without calling me asking if and when I’m coming back, and when my mom was recently sick unexpectedly and I had a couple personal things myself, that popped up unexpectedly they got me back and did their best. I personally feel Crawford is a great place to work for, but I understand some drivers value different things and we all have different personalities. But I see myself staying here until the time comes I either get my own truck and do my own thing, or if I want to be home every night, but even then I’d try to see if there was a job I could do there while being home more if I moved back to town."

"Let me start out by saying this is a great company to work for! Greg, Chad, Eric, Karoline, and the rest of the crew are awesome people, super friendly, and very professional! I’ve been with this company a short time(3 months) but I don’t see myself going anywhere else! They run well equipment, which means more miles a week than downtime sitting in a shop! Being in the trucking industry, you’re going to have some weeks were you just don’t get the miles you expect and I’ve only had it happen twice but they have made up for it the next week after! The best part of this company is that their a small company, so you’re family! They know you by your name and not a number!!! Im very thankful for finding Crawford Trucking and them bringing me onboard to the family!!!"
