"The management of this apartment is just horrible. I am a real estate agent and I don’t live here. However i help my clients with everything! I always make sure to know what the early termination fee is. I called many times because I have more than one client who live at Douglas. Three times I’ve been told that the early termination fee is for two months worth of rent. When my clients put in their notice, they were told three months worth of rent. Making it more than $2200+. When I talk to the employees, they don’t even know them self, and told me to contact upper management which I did, but they never replied. Not to mention in the lease agreement. There is no official clause regarding the early termination. So that number can really change. This is one issue. Another issue is that they don’t keep records from the previous management. My clients have lived in Douglas for more than three and when the lender calls to do the verification, this new management said their move-in date was 6 months ago. This is not the case and this really affects the buying side process. They should and need to keep a record of everything. I’m definitely glad my clients are moving out and having a home. I have worked with many apartments, and I’ve never came across this!"
