"Lovely quiet restaurant with delicious food. The ramen is delicious and filling, and at about 11 dollars a bowl it feels like a meal for a king. The broths are flavorful, the meats are cooked to perfection, the boiled eggs warm and soft, the noodles neverending... all around a great spot for a big meal for a reasonable price."
"James took care of us while we were there. He was so funny and friendly and informative. He completely made the experience for us. Definitely will be back to see him for sure. The food he suggested was really good too."
"Do not get ramen or miso soup here. I'm from out of town so I'm a bit spoiled with authentic ramen where I live- this was certainly an attempt. The tea egg was good and the chicken was seasoned and buttery, however, the broth flavor reminded me of vomit and the noodles were extremely pungent. My friend, who got the appetizers, said they were alright, and the sushi was just fine too. I got sick after the ramen, however (about two hours later) which has never happened in all my years of eating restaurant ramen. The staff was at least very friendly and the wait wasn't too bad. Just disappointing that the ramen wasn't great."
"A small but upscale little Japanese restaurant right next to ISU. Ordered ramen and Komodo sticks appetizer; Komodo appetizers are very creative, the fried crab stick and cream cheese make it very crunchy out but creamy in. The sauce also add some sweet and savory into. Highly recommend this one if u live fried food like me. Ramen was ok, I think the broth could add more sodium, pork chuashu could marinated longer, but the egg was very well half cooked, perfect condition in ramen. With the ramen priced at $11, I think this is still worth it. Server is very considerate and very friendly, he helped me with packing leftovers and even grabbed a plastic bag for easier to carry. There decors are cute and they have patio seats."
"Whoever thought of the mozzarella crab Rangoon is an absolute genius!! I wanted to try a new restaurant for my birthday today and was not disappointed. The food was amazing! We got the spicy miso Ramen 10/10 would recommend and the lemon salmon bento box 10/10 would also recommend and to top off the night we got the specialty casino roll (sushi) that was absolutely delicious! Again 10/10 would recommend! I would eat here again in a heart beat and for everything we got it was priced very well our dinner cost $46 + tip. The staff was also super nice! Great environment in the restaurant as well! If you are looking for some where new to try definitely give this place a shot!"
