"Friendly staff at this local ice skating rink. I have been here a few times and they regularly resurface the ice. Comfortable figure skates and hockey skates are both available for rent. The price seemed reasonable. On the weekends it can get a bit crowded in the afternoons."

"Wonderful holiday skate event at the rink. Fun for friends and families. One break for the Zamboni or machine that smooths the ice for skating. Minus one star because the rink was not prepped before the skate at 1pm. The rink was damaged to the level of previous use to the level of feeling as though skating over 36 grit sand paper and peat gravel in many spots. Making it difficult for enjoyment until the first break when the Zamboni helped improve the surface. Having two options, rink in CR and at the mall for comparison prefer the Linn Cty rink for better surface over the holiday skate. Based on the condition of the rink. Though, for family fun is a win at the holidays despite the inconvenience and unsteady skate moments for many. The Coralville rink is fun, in my view, during the off season. Bring socks. Have a summer skate to cool off. And, the surface is typically preferable with less skaters. For regular season five stars. ***Special note, to the counter staff who gave me a token to get back into my locker after company showed and needed to store their stuff, at no additional charge, when I tried to pay, thank you. All staff were friendly and helpful whether picking proper shoes to swapping sizes for fit and check in."

"I almost never post negative reviews, so buckle up. We went today (1/1/24) as it’s a family tradition and the gal at the admissions desk was fantastic and friendly. However, the two gals at the skate rental booth were so incredibly rude, I was embarrassed for them. It wasn’t just to us, we watched as an obvious immigrant/foreign visiting family was asking for assistance with the lockers and the blonde girl was so outright rude and short with them, I was horrified. Horrified. She needs a lesson in grace, gratitude, and being humble and kind. Again, I was HORRIFIED at her behavior."

"Great little place to skate and or Olay a little hockey, located near the food court in a thriving mall, rent some skates go for a spin, grab a snack!"

"It was a nice ice rink and everyone really seemed to be enjoying themselves. There were people of every skill level out there doing their thing and it seemed to be working out just fine. They have adaptive devices for the little ones that they could either push to aid with their balance or sit on and be pushed around the rink. We went during a family fun night so the only cost to us was the $3 to rent skates."
