"Absolutely love Tribe Athletics and what they stand for. Great atmosphere for my kiddo to learn and grow! The best team environment you could ask for. Watching everyone support one another is so heartwarming. The coaches are amazing and truly inspiring. They never rush your kiddos to get skills, they are always building up your kiddos confidence and supporting them."
"If I could give Tribe 0 stars I would. First off, I would like to address how disorganized it is and how small and hot the space is. The “staff” and coaches are not welcoming and helpful. If we didn’t know one of the moms already in the class we would have had no idea what to do on our first day. We are not allowed in the facility, however the few times I have stepped in, I’ve found my daughters teachers not paying attention and sitting on their phones instead of teaching. My daughter is 5 years old, in tumbling. We are unable to watch, which I do understand for safety and to limit distraction. However other facilities offer areas to view privately to eliminate distractions. We get no progress or evaluation reports to know how things are going. The “coaches” are essentially children themselves. However what really solidified my decision to pull my daughter was that one day her teachers decided to end class early, they normally go until 6:55. Parents are to wait in their cars. At 6:50 my daughter and two other girls in her class came running across the parking lot to my car.. Completely unsupervised. The parking lot is extremely busy and someone could have easily been hurt. I immediately went in and spoke with the teacher who gave me completely ridiculous excuses as to how they were able to get out of the building. Honestly, this should be reported to the state as my child is Tribes responsibility when in their care and they can’t even be trusted to keep our children safe. I don’t recommend ANYONE take their small children here."
"My daughter has attended 2 programs here and she loves it! The staff is friendly and professional. They were even willing to be flexible with their scheduling as we had an unforeseen situation where she wasn’t able to attend so the rescheduled her to a later date class."
"I am disappointed I have yo give them one star as they deserve 0. This gym can basically be summed up as you walk in and see all the staff on their cell phones and all the participants grouped in their cliques. It does not feel like a tribe. It does not feel inclusive and the (individuals who I believe are the owners- but they never spoke to me) owners lack integrity. If it wasn’t for a kind parent showing us what to do, we would not have known that first day as no one even acknowledged us or took my daughter back when it was time for her class. I would look at Iowa Elite Cheer. Todd and Ali (today was our first day) greeted us and have a strong work ethic, clear instruction, clear communication, and clear roles for all employees. You will never get that at Tribe."
"I can see why they don’t let parents stay. When I arrived my child yelled across the floor “can I go I hate it here” while he worked on progressive skills he was done with 3 years ago he learned from a toddler class. The instructor did not interact with him or me once, including when a full water bottle fell on his head. She didn’t even assess his skill level, he can already do what the girls were trying to learn. Then they charged me for a full month after one introductory class and immediate cancellation. Absolutely terrible experience from start to finish."
