Hotel Pommier

"I don’t have enough nice things to say about this hotel. My husband and I were visiting for work and had some trouble determining how long we were going to stay, issues with the bank etc etc and the front desk could not have been more patient and helpful. We were less than ideal guests, and they didn’t blink an eye. The rooms are large, clean, and come with body wash, shampoo etc. The staff seems small as well, so if you stay for a few days you’ll see repeat faces and they’re very friendly. I even had an issue with getting an Uber to the airport and the woman at the front desk called a friend to give me a ride! That’s some service! I can’t imagine why I’ll be back in town, but if I ever am, I’ll be back! I forgot to mention, on weekdays breakfast starts at 5. Perfect for those who work early!"

"I can’t even begin to say how astonishing this place is! You can tell that it’s been rebuilt with the outmost care and quality. Staff was kind, patient and happy to be working! The rooms were clean and the place was quiet. We stayed here on a whim when our car broke down and literally are planning a trip back out and will be staying again. A one in a million place! They put the “Home” in hotel."

"We love staying local; we get that “Iowa Nice” treatment every time. Rooms are updated and clean with personal touches around every corner. The note card from our housekeeper even had the cutest cartoon cat sketched on it adding a little flair and humoring our toddler. A good stay is in the details, and Hotel Pommier has got it!"

"Huge, nice rooms! Great location on the main highway near Simpson College where we were attending a gymnastics meet. All the amenities made it so convenient and comfortable. (Keyless entry, free TV or sign into your own streaming platform, 24hr coffee and cocoa, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand soap, and lotion all in wall dispensers, beautiful lobby and entertainment room with ping pong table) Everything very clean and nice, and affordable rates."

"What an amazing and unique hotel! I had a fantastic stay while travelling for a work conference. Public areas and clean and inviting. Staff was welcoming! The lodging rooms are spacious and well taken care of. I will definitely be staying here again next time I am in the area."
