"A MUST READ! After living here for unfortunately 5 years here’s my honest review of Seqouia Meadows now called “Studio 29”. As a tenant here you will experience MANY water shut offs. Sometimes twice or 3 times a month which is not only an inconvenience sometimes management won’t even tell you when it’s happening. It’s always random. Well get lucky if we get an email or paper on our door noticing us a day before hand. In addition to the maintenance team here is a joke. Please take time to read the several 1-3 stars reviews about their lousy performance. I have asked several times to fix the faux wood flooring that is peeling off the side of my bathtub and no one has came to fix it (it’s been 2 years). There’s probably no record of me asking as well because Nicole didn’t take the time to put that request. You will also experience peeling on the inside of your bathtub because that’s the way these apartments like to upkeep the tubs by plastering on paint that will peel in a week. I had to ask 5 times and even present ourselves in person at the office to have someone switch out a kitchen lightbulb that has been burnt out for a week. I have asked 4 times to fix my fridge that does not cool leaving my expensive groceries to rot. I had ask to fix my closet rod which took 2 weeks and it is still very much janky and hanging by a nail due to the incompetent job maintenance did. The staff seems to have no care in the world about their tenants they’re always rude and EXTREMELY passive aggressive therefore that is the same treatment I treat them. They will not empathize with the troubles you are experiencing in your apartment they would rather treat the tenant with a rude tone and demeanor and put you on a waitlist till one of their low performing maintenance team can assist you. Good luck if your ac is not working in the summer, in 2020 we had to wait a MONTH till we had working AC. The neighborhood is GHETTO. No other way to put it. I had to set up a screen door on my apartment due to drug addicts knocking on my door asking for meth and crazy neighbors trying to open my door claiming I have their packages. If you’re the new tenant of unit 5291 apt 103 you will have an assigned parking spot next to a crazy drunk white late 50s woman claiming that that’s her parking spot and will yell at you that you cannot park their because Nicole Barbon (our past leasing manager) said she is ALLOWED her to park there. The drunk neighbor will also tell you that you cannot park in unassigned parking because that’s her spot and she has the rights to that spot because she’s been living on the property for 3 years. I had to deal with this annoyance 3 times. In conclusion to we are extremely happy to leave this garbage property and hope that the inspection with the new manager Jalissa goes smoothly. Will be updating! In other words there are several better options to rent at for the price they’re charging here. Therefore good luck to anyone that still wants to rent here, you have been advised."
"Please be advise of the unprofessionalism from the new manager Jalissa. She abruptly hunged up on me after asking for reassurance of the total of my rent for the month of January. Truly tragic that even under new management it’s still the same unprofessional mannerisms. For the sake of your mental health and if you don’t want to deal with rude people please don’t move here. "Only given a day or so to turn in my inspection sheet I forgot to mention the carpet on how very dusty it is. But when I went to the office the next day to turn it in I did mention it to cierra. But she swore up and down that they clean the carpet but if she didn't check for herself, it's our word against whoever cleaned it. So as I continue to vacuum the carpet, the more thicker the dust became. Looks like comet the clean powder. We only been here for 2 weeks And was told By Jeelisa there's nothing they can do because it wasn't on the inspection sheet but I told her that cierra knew about this issue when I came to drop off the sheet. This carpet has made me and my baby sinuses very bad from nose bleeds, congested, and sore throats. Theres no way being here for 2 weeks got the carpet looking like I've been vacuuming up comet cleaning."
