Dutch Inn and Suites 810 Lincoln Place Southeast, Orange City, IA 51041

"There was something odd about the Dutch Inn. We are in our 70s, but they put us on the second floor with no elevator. We were traveling with a food cooler and a few suitcases that they thought we could just carry up the stairs When I said I was not able to do that, the desk guy offered to carry them for us. Things got weird when the sun went down and we discovered that half the suite was not usable because there is no lighting in that area. When I asked the desk guy why there was no light, I was told this is a couples room and they want it dark. Further, the bill was far larger than it should have been. I booked 3 nights at 115 a night and was charged 578 with taxes and fees. The owner tried to convince me that it was Expedia that charged that much, but I did not use a third-party service. I know now that this was a bad choice on my part. I will not be staying here again."

"Update: Great breakfast, waffles, pastries, fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee! Good mattress, good heat! Highly recommend for the price! Great breakfast! Mattresses are a little too firm for us. Fan on heater was very loud. Close to destination!"
