"10/10 do not recommend. I wish I could give 0 stars. I am having a positive experience w/ Julie for couples therapy so this is not about her, but everything else is an absolute no. I have been ghosted by 3 therapists for individual therapy with not even a text days after. No explanations, no apologies, nothing. I set times aside my busy schedule to meet with them, and nothing. I called the company to try to speak with a “manager” about their therapists, and haven’t even gotten a call back from them over a week ago. If you want someone to care, and prioritize you and your mental health, do not go here. I will not recommend to anyone."

"Well now , i have recently had a very positive experience and as they say " change of heart " about UCS and it's staff and protocols ! Nurse Emily , who has been VERY helpful and attentive to my situation,is an absolute gem , and Dr. Joshua meeting him my 1st time , is a delight to know ,and talk with . My 2 negative reviews in the past i see NOW they were me venting from frustration and looking for a " scapegoat" to cast blame or suspicion on UCS but now i realize that this institution is also regulated by state & federal laws . I also know that there are other MAT clinics much closer to me here in DSM , but i will always go to 1300 woodland cuz i started there and the staff & counselors are THE BEST of the finest ! I also need to give kudos to Nancy ,( you know who she is) and Tonya and Terri,and all the great peeps at Side A & Side B Thanks so much ."

"If you are one of the unfortunate people that have been reliant on opiates ,like me , please please please try to get off of them ! Do NOT trade one crutch for another one and go to this place ,West Des Moines location. They will pretend like they care about you,but in reality, it's just a job/ paycheck for the " caring" staff who work there. I have been reprimanded for using NyQuil for a bad cold and it showed up in my UA as alcohol! So, they took my take homes away..2 years ago i had a positive UA because i had used Listerine that morning to brush my teeth with ! They are VERY judgemental ,and they have made a small fortune off of me since 2019. T"

"I see bad reviews here and I’ve been going here for 2 years and ALWAYS have been treated well. Dr. Mollie takes her time with me even after taking on another position, she comes in on her Saturday off and listens and DOES CARE. Rachel is the best too! It goes both ways. Respect them and their time and you will get respect!"

"I was 13 minutes late and they wouldn’t see me, I get it. But they didn’t tell me and let me sit in the lobby for half an hour. I’m out of meds and just need a refill it would take ten minutes, they still wouldn’t see me. No one else was in the lobby waiting for an appointment. It’s a month to reschedule. Rachel and ucs are not in the business of helping people. I won’t be going back"
