"You go in for a literal physical and they charge you for an office visit and a physical, especially when you make it clear to the doctor that that's all you are there for so please only focus on the physical as my insurance does not cover. If for some reason I need to schedule another appointment based on my physical to have something checked out please let me know. Well my physical looks like a physical but still charged an extra. I really don't recommend unity point waukee."

"Went in for yearly blood work for blood pressure check. Also had just passed a kidney stone days before. Still In pain from that. Informed Dr. She said she thought it was a pulled muscle. Even put in notes. I told her I knew my body and knew it wasn’t. Plus there were tests and ct scans showing otherwise. Asked for pain medicine until I could get to urology next week. She said no not until she tests blood and urine. 2 days have went by, test came back showing it was no pulled muscle. And indeed there’s something going on with kidney. Called in and asked someone to call me back to explain what was going on and never received a phone call. In the mean time I’m going to have to spend more money going to the er because my primary care center clearly does not care."

"Today 10/19, my wife received a call from Waukee Pediatrics Administrative assistant notifying us that on Friday 10/15, they had administered the wrong vaccine to my 2 month old daughter. They're explanation was: "We're sorry, please continue to monitor your child". I am extremely concerned with the way they're handling this situation, we have not been informed of side effects and/or log term consequences and we were not given further instructions on what to do. I feel they are not taking this seriously, I fear for my daughter's health. If I do not hear from manager within the next 24hrs I will reach out to the media."

"I've been a patient of UnityPoint Waukee for the last 21 years. At my most recent visit, I learned that my physician was leaving UnityPoint to pursue another opportunity. The entire staff, including Dr. H, went out of their way to make me feel like I will remain in good hands with another provider. I left the visit confident that UnityPoint Waukee will continue providing me with first-class care. Thank you for making this transition a smooth one!"

"My husband had a health problems last year. When I called his doctor to set up visit front desk told me our insurance is not in network with Mercy . We had to switch to UnityPoint I called their office in Waukee right away. My husband saw one of doctors few time last year and then we receive letter from their office that said doctor left practice. When I called recently to set up visit for my husband I was told my husband is not established patient and their doctors can't see him. I was told only 2 doctors are taking new pt which is at the end of September. Front desk told me my husband needs to go somewhere else and that us rule of clinic. I would not recommend this place to anyone."
