Reviews
"Every time that I have gone has been a nice experience. From a twisted ankle to a cold. Everyone is always nice and listens to me when I have a concern or more questions."
"Used this urgent care about a year ago for the first time, they ended up sending me away saying that I didn’t have a foreign object in my toe, which is what I can for. Ended up in the er about two hours later and they removed the exact object that the urgent care said they didn’t have. I tried going back today for a different issue, because it’s the closest urgent care. I called to make sure they were open and they told me they took patients until 945pm, only to get there and for them to be closed at 9:10pm."
"I waited for 2 hours even after scheduling online, but I can understand that in the middle of COVID/flu season. I was diagnosed with an ear infection and the provider told me that she was sending in 2 prescriptions to my pharmacy. As an adult, ear infections are painful, and I had a small rupture of my eardrum…meaning I’d like to start my prescriptions as quickly as possible. Four hours after I left the clinic, my prescriptions still were not send to my pharmacy. I called the clinic and was told that the staff was behind on charting due to an emergency and that they would send the prescription over. The staff was friendly and helpful, but I’m disappointed that there seemed to be no sense of urgency to send the prescriptions to the pharmacy. Every medication that’s prescribed these days is sent electronically and most providers send it from the computer in the exam room right away. Why wasn’t that done in this case?"
"The receptionist tonight and nurses were very nice caring and helpful but the nurse practitioner needs to lose her job and license! Never have I ever brought myself or my kids to an urgent care and had any negative experience like this before. This is the SECOND time in 3-4 months my oldest has been refused care from this location but it will be the last unless actions meet promises. My son came in for a VALID urgent care reason and the nurse practitioner completely disregarded the urgency of the matter AND refused to provide a much needed doctors note for school and work. When I refused to accept her “I can’t provide a doctors note because I’m not allowed” statement I told her that was a lie and she got on a power trip telling the nurses to not bill for the charges and to put us on the “No Contact/Service” list and telling me that if I don’t like what she says I can take my son somewhere else. Looking at the reviews, this is clearly not the first incident but it should be the last. I immediately asked the nurses and receptionist for a number to call to file a complaint and they took my info to forward it to someone APOLOGIZING for her lack of professionalism. I do have a degree in healthcare and if I worked at this very same clinic as this nurse practitioner, I would be ashamed and embarrassed. I have already called the urgent care operator who was shocked to hear of my son’s and my experience and who was eager to assist with me to filing a complaint and I am at the ER now with my son for a non-emergency visit that is not only wasting emergency medical staff’s time from treating more serious medical encounters, but causing our insurance to be billed at a significantly higher rate than normal, just so my son can receive medical care that he needs and deserves. If any medical professional doesn’t care to perform their duties within their role then they should not be in the medical field. My other son has been treated at other urgent care clinics within Methodist for the same things my oldest has tried to be seen for at this clinic and at age 16 he shouldn’t be wondering why a medical professional has a problem treating him. Like I said, this is the SECOND time that this has happened to him AT THIS facility and it’s sad to read other reviews from other patients receiving the same level of unprofessionalism. The ER staff were very understanding and provided the care and service my son needed including the doctors note, thankfully, but unless the leadership within the Methodist system rectifies this recurring problem with this unethical medical professional then the whole network will lose my and many others’ trust to handle our medical care. Being a medical professional should be a passion to care for and help others enhance or improve their quality of life not treat patients like they’re just a number or that they’re not important enough to receive the medical care they need and deserve. The ONLY reason this facility has a 1 star is because 1)you can’t leave a no star review and 2) the receptionist and nurse assistants were the only ethical professionals."
"The front desk lady is super friendly. The wait also wasn't too bad. But the nurse practitioner that saw her completely disregarded my concerns and what I took my daughter in for (croup). I knew my daughter would benefit from a steroid, but she did not give one ounce of caring. She basically said if she gets worse tonight then take her into the ER. I went to the office to avoid the ER. Golly. So disappointed and annoyed. It was a complete waste of my time. Not returning to this location again."
